Miami with a good win against San Antonio. Jimmy had only 8pts but 7ast. Bam only 6pts but 11reb 5ast. The stars of the show were Rozier (20pts) and K Ware off the bench.

A face off between Ware and Wemby.

Wemby = 21pts 10reb 3ast 1blk on 8-18 FGA 2-6 FTA
Ware = 25pts 8reb 2ast 2blk on 10-19 FGA 4-4 FTA

Ware has not been a consistent contributor for Miami so far this season but he has these flashes of becoming a real player. One to watch.

If I'm Tyrese Maxey I'd be honestly be getting really ticked off. Embiid never plays basketball anymore, and then even George seems to has these "load management" days. For a team that's 15-26 and still 3+ games behind a play-in spot. It's like there's zero urgency. Unserious team.

Russell Westbrook splits

Starter = 20 games 30.8mpg 14.9ppg 6.4rpg 7.6apg 51.6% FG% 34.2% 3PT% 58.8% TS%

Reserve = 21 games 24mpg 11.4ppg 3.7rpg 5.6apg 40.1% FG% 33.8% 3PT% 49.7% TS%

Westbrook has been ballin' since becoming a starter. Very good per minute production. Those numbers in 30.8mpg to Per 36 numbers would be 18 points, 7.7 rebounds, 9.1 assists. Star level production.

Heat intensify trade talks involving Jimmy Butler

Brian Windhorst: ?Since Jimmy had his meeting with Micky Arison on Thursday there is no doubt an uptick in discussions around Jimmy Butler. The Heat shifted into a new gear after that meeting. I even had a team on Friday call me and say ?Hey, this team is trying to dump some salary? and they go ?Hey, we were just talking with a couple of teams who were trying to dump a salary? and they all of a sudden like had to like end our phone calls to go do something bigger they said ?What?s going on?? and I go ?Well, I don?t know?, but I speculate that it has to do with Butler and not just a direct Butler trade but three and four team trades. The point is I do think the Heat are actually trying.?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Philly got themselves into this with the big difficult to move contract. George is old somewhat worn  and Imbiid never going to have two nba knees again.  I think they are just going to ride the wind for this year.  Imbiids body has always been a ticking time bomb .

The Wizards clearly need to trade for Jayden Daniels.

I am guessing that WAS is a seller, not a buyer  ;) .  They have some potentially interesting names, Poole, Kuzma, Brogdon, Valanciunas, Bey (if he can get back on the court).  Nothing BOS can make work, but you would think they would be active overall.

As long as Poole keeps getting a bunch of hollow stats for my fantasy team they can trade whoever they like lol.

I always liked Bey.  I hope he can get healthy and find a happy home.

I am guessing you mean you hope he CAN get healthy and find a home.  He makes $6.4M, about what Pritchard makes ($6.7M).  The only way we could get Bey is to trade Pritchard, which of course isn't going to happen.

If they can get him back on the floor, I think he would have decent trade deadline value for WAS.

Seems like he?s done at this point. Knee problems just aren?t going away.

Embiid (Out) will have his left knee re-evaluated in 7-10 days due to swelling, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Kel'el Ware might end up being an awesome find by Miami. 20/16 tonight and he's looked awesome since the start of January.
