I don't like watching Wemby on offense. He is a lot of fun to watch on defense & rebounding but he annoys me on offense with how much time he spends so far away from the rim. Out at the three point line and trying to beat players off the dribble.
I remember young Dirk. His style of play didn't bother me. He was a superb jump-shooter. He lacked an interior game. Wemby doesn't lack interior scoring. He is a very good scorer inside of 15 feet, inside of 10 feet. Wemby can finish over anyone at 7 foot 5. Dirk did not have that. When Dirk developed that post game under Avery Johnson, he mixed his offense more and played with both an inside and an outside game. Wemby is far too reliant on his outside game for someone so potent inside.
It is boring. It is dumb basketball. Watching this 7 foot 5 guy make bad decisions over and over.
