Mitchell and Garland were a combined 10-31 from the field. Allen and Mobley bailed them out.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Cleveland is a legit regular season team. The playoffs are a different animal. I guess we?ll find out what they?re made of come June. They look like a really tough out though.

Same thing people said about us for years.
If we get past Cleveland it?s gonna be a 7 game series bar fight.

That was a fun game.  I don?t watch a whole lot of non-Celtics games.  If the C?s can?t make it back to the Finals I?d definitely tune in for that matchup.  It would probably be crap for ratings with those markets, but a great matchup.
Yup

I think it will be a really fun match up. We matchup well with them I think and they match up well with us. We have the wings to cover theirs and vice versa, ours are a bit more physical, theirs are quicker and better ball handlers. And we both can play the double bigs, theirs are more interior bangers, ours are more stretch 5s, so there are similarities and contrasts. Though of the 4 of them Mobley will probably end up being the best of them all if he can stay healthy. And they obviously have upgraded with Kenny as their coach, he's provided a common direction for these guys to pull towards, just like Mazz did for us. I think we have the slight edge but it's going to be a fun series if we do end up playing them

OKC scares me much more than the Cavs.  I just don't see a healthy Celtics team losing to CLE in a 7 game series.  Home court or no.  This Celtics has certainly shown that playing on the road in the playoffs doesn't really phase them.

In my opinion they need to send some doubles at Mitchell in the 4th quarter. The way we played him in the 4th was pathetic. Make some one else beat you and if they do you tip your cap and move on to next year. The way DM just got any shot he wanted off the pick and roll was in excusable. Horrible strategy. He can be that guy, make Garland or Mobley beat us. It?s common sense.

Mitchell and Garland were a combined 10-31 from the field yesterday. Cavs won because Allen and Mobley bailed them out.

Brandon Jennings "calling out" Tatum has to be one of the more pathetic things I've seen. An average NBA player calling a Top-5 talent in the league "soft"   ::)

I guess it really is just the new podcast culture of the NBA now. Even guys like Shaq go on these shows and rip apart current players. Then you have bums like Jennings saying this stuff just to be relevant again.

I was happy to see JT be petty about it with his recent IG post. Hopefully it also sparks him and the team going forward.

Oh and btw, in All-Star voting Tatum is 3rd OVERALL and very close to Jokic who is at #2, in the entire NBA. That's not some "soft superstar"

Close but no cigar...another win for the Cavs.

There's just something magical about them. Kind of like us last season. Don't like it
