I don't like those GSW jerseys. They look more like the Heat or the Cavs. White strip with red font.

Choke job by GSW in the fourth quarter against San Antonio. Curry laid an egg tonight.

Looks like Nikola Jokic is still AR15, Anthony Davis, and the Lakers' father. They got blown out in LA tonight

Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams suffered season-ending tears to his ACL, meniscus and associated ligaments in his right knee, sources told ESPN on Sunday.

Williams, who is averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season, was injured late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 125-119 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks when he was driving to the basket with just under four minutes remaining.

What goes around comes around? Didn't like the guy esp with his Dillon Brooks wannabe antics, but I guess he deserves some of it. Making non-basketball dangerous plays and trying to hurt our guys.

Westbrook had quite a payback game vs the Lakers too.

Those red Miami Heat jerseys look more like Rockets uniforms. Do they say "Heat Culture" instead of "Heat"? Oh my.

Why do jerseys keep getting worse.

Bam rushes his shots so often in the paint / low post. He flips them up there. Doesn't feel confident he can shoot over bigger players otherwise.

He shoots too much. He is not efficient enough as a scorer to be taking so many shot attempts.

Why would you play a zone in a crucial possession against a team with Kyrie Irving & Klay Thompson in the backcourt? Madness.

That took 10-15 minutes to play the last 15 seconds.

They gotta speed this stuff up. Too slow.

No idea why the refs did not call a foul on Lively on that block attempt on Jimmy Butler who dunked it to tie the game and send it into overtime.

It was a fun game until this snail paced finish.

Imagine if after December 1, the Cavs have a 19-2 record... and both those losses were to the Celtics

The no-call meltdown could not have happened to a more deserving team than Butler and the Heat. Screw them.

But I also dislike Lively after the playoffs last year. Meh.

Cavaliers finish the regular season and postseason combined 86-8

All 8 losses are to Boston

The Bucks are actually starting to gain some momentum. They are still 6-9 but now up to the 10th seed (play-in range) and the way the East is set up, they are a winning streak away from basically vaulting to a Top-5 spot.

Sixers are doomed though.

Idk about the Pacers, I thought they'd be a Top-5 seed but they just look very inconsistent and it's the same with Haliburton. Hard to gauge them.

Cleveland, New York and Boston seem to be the rightful Top-3 and I view those two as our biggest threats in the East currently. Originally thought it'd be NY, IND and PHI (if healthy)
Why are the Sixers doomed?  As bad as they've been playing and with all the missed time due to injuries, they are only 4 games out of 6th place.

I don't think they're doomed, but their margin of error is shrinking every loss. I was talking to my friend who is a Philly supporter trying to cheer him up and I was looking at it a different way. If we assume they need at least a .500 to make the play-in, they need to win 37 of 64 games which is around a 58% win rate. Certainly doable, if they can somehow gel together, remain healthy and build chemistry in the 4-odd months left. But they really can't drop too many more games against these so-called non-playoff teams. We would have to see a step change in their trend of performance. Maybe that step change is when a) Embiid, PG and Maxey are all healthy and they are able to incorporate McCain into that team as a support player, rather than him being the volume scorer he is right now, and b) their cast of backups like Gordon, Martin, and Oubre become the significant contributors they expected at the start of the season.

You don't get ruled out in November but they're losing time of building habits, developing chemistry, all that stuff that championship teams (supposedly) need a season to build. All the little things that make it so that when you get to the playoffs you're operating largely on reflex and anticipating what your teammates are going to do rather than having to think about things.

Disclaimer: I'm assuming based on history that you will need around a 40 win season to at least get into the play in. The East is looking very egalitarian right now, so maybe a team will get in with 35 wins  :police:

In 31 mins of play tonight, Elfrid Payton had 21 assists for the Pelicans. Haven?t seen a 20+ assist game in a while.
