To wrap up last week, the Georgia/Bama game tv viewership was the most for a regular season game since 2017 (12 million average with 14.1 million peak).
This week's games don't have any great matchups but the following 2 weeks do. This week has started off well. Syracuse beats UNLV in overtime. Oregon takes care of Michigan State which sets up next week's Ohio State/Oregon game as a top 6 matchup. Whatever Oregon's o-line problems were at the beginning of the season they appear to have been addressed.
For today's games:
Only top 25 game is Missouri at Texas A&M. Close wins against Boston College and Vandy have removed have dampened the playoff luster from Missouri. They could use a convincing win against A&M.
SMU at Louisville - Competing for a spot in the ACC championship.
That just sounds weird.
Iowa at Ohio State - If this was at Iowa, OSU fans might need to be concerned. Ohio State should win handily setting up next week's game with Oregon.
Auburn at Georgia - Georgia should dominate. Even in bad seasons. Auburn usually has a surprisingly good game against a top team however those usually occur at Auburn.
Ole Miss at South Carolina - Does Ole Miss get back on track or does South Carolina show their win over Kentucky wasn't an aberration.
Alabama at Vandy - Roll Tide!! Bama needs to avoid a let down after last week's big win. They need to focus on getting the running game with the running backs going.
Clemson at FSU - This was supposed to be the big matchup this week but FSU has really screwed the pooch. It sounds like DJ U is out with an injury. It would be funny if FSU pulls off the upset but even being competitive would be a minor miracle.
Tennessee at Arkansas - Tennessee should win but might be closer than expected.
Michigan at Washington - Michigan is ranked #10 and Washington it unranked but Vegas apparently favors Washington. With a QB who can't pass, Michigan doesn't have much margin in any game.
Miami at Cal - Can't believe this is an ACC matchup. Apparently Cal folks started calling it the Coke (doesn't mean the soda) vs Woke game.
The SEC adding Texas and Oklahoma was regionally sound. B1G and ACC teams are having some ridiculous amounts of travel. Going to be even more ridiculous with the lesser sports.
