Brissett isn?t needed with Baylor here.

Yeah, I believe that Scheierman makes it 14 roster spots. Unless someone really good wants to ring chase for the vet min I don't see us adding anyone.

Awesome.  Tillman is going to be an important body this upcoming season.  Going to need him defensively.

I'd happily welcome Brissett back.  His skills contrast greatly with our other wings and gives us much needed energy and toughness off the bench.  Poor shooter but is a good slasher.

Heck yes I would take Brissett back.   If we can bring back our top 12 from the team that just won a title (+ have Walsh, Springer, and Baylor hopefully all improving), bring them all back.

It felt like this year's team really had camaraderie, nice balance of personalities, and in general everybody rooted for everyone else.  I think that is unique and worthwhile.

I feel Brad?s done at least for now. Baylor takes over Svi?s spot, and Brissy?s would be left open to start the season. If Brissy makes himself affordable to the Cs, does Brad bring him in? Brad seems to like to have a roster spot open to begin the season.

I agree, and I would add that bringing almost everybody back means guys can continue their development program and learning the O and D systems, as well as the tendencies of their teammates. This should give a nice kick-start to training camp.

I?d bring Brissett back , Morris doesn?t have Brissett energy , he plays 110 % anytime he is given chance and really puts defensive pressure on the ball when the opponents are already tired.

Leave that last spot open for flexibility and golden chance opportunity, let the prospects soak up some early season minutes. Unless someone that can crack the top 8 or 9 becomes available on the cheap.

Walsh will take this spot allowing for a rook at the deep end of the bench.

is there any recent history of a team bringing pretty much the entire rotation back?

I think Boston needs to commit to playing Walsh and Baylor. They can do easily what is needed off the bench. I honestly believe Baylor is going to be a rotation player for this team.

Adding him to the bench makes the bench better than last year.

Brissett is looking to see if he can sign with a team that can give him more playing time, but looks like he's willing to have the Cs as a fallback option if he can't find one. Doiesn't seem like money is the issue.

A league source said that backup wing Oshae Brissett is still seeking an opportunity with a team that can offer more playing time than the Celtics did last season, but the door has not closed on a return to Boston.

id like to see Walsh play brissetts role if he doesn't come back. I mean thats why we draft these guys right? See if he can develop into a valuable roleplayer

Exactly. Think Walsh and Baylor's upside is higher. Get them playing.

I don't think we have room for Brissett now. We have 14 guys. We probably just keep the 15th spot open as we've done in the past...

I agree with Walsh taking Brissett's role. If he isn't able to provide what Brissett did last year, then it maybe time to look at moving him sooner rather than later. Brissett brought energy and toughness off the bench, but was a total zero offensively. If Walsh can't do that, then I'm not sure what his prospects are. We also have Springer for guards and smaller wings. His whole thing is defense.

Baylor should obviously be able to at least take over Svi's role, but he honestly looks like he could push into that top 10-11 if he's given a chance. A smart basketball player who can make plays off the dribble or shoot from 3. He's like a combination of Pritchard and Hauser and he's an older rookie.
