The lead-up to this Chiefs/ Bills game reminds me a lot of the 2006 AFC Championship Gane between the Colts and Patriots.

To that point Peyton Manning had never beaten Brady, despite Manning having been billed by many as a GOAT candidate. The media and fans were tired of seeing the Pats win and were desperate for Peyton to get over the hump.

The Pats came out strong, but the league put its thumb on the scale and gifted the Colts with numerous game-changing calls. A talent-depleted Patriots receiving corps couldn't make key plays, and the Colts and refs escaped with a narrow victory.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Bills get a good whistle today.

Not buying it.  Would be so colossally stupid for a real conspiracy to favor a team is actually in play. And of course it would have to be a conspiracy.  Someone at the highest level somehow getting word to a team of refs, all of whom would need to be both willing to engage in misbehavior and be completely trustworthy as to never leaking the request.  I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue in the gambling world if such a thing were to come to light.  I won?t say it?s never happened but I?m more than dubious that any such conspiracy will be in play today.

I?m not so sure about this. Seems like the league wants to give Mahomes a shot at the 3 peat and he?s been getting a favorable whistle all season and into the playoffs.

Superbowl rematch, a chance for 3peat, two heavyweight teams record-wise? Those are all recipes for 'improved' ratings for Superbowl LIX

55-23. Most scoring points in a Conference Championship Game series ever?

I'm stunned. How did this same Eagles team last year lost to the Bucs in the Wild Card, but this year they're in the Superbowl? Both seasons they're healthy too

I was an honorary Commanders fan today...not just for Jayden Daniels, but I really don't want Philly, KC or Buffalo to win it. But of those 3 I could probably live with Buffalo if I had to  :-\

I love it when playoff games are over after barely starting.

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.
