How much does Luka weigh?

During the game Doris said he was 6?7? and 235 lbs. His NBA listing has him at 230. Maybe when he was 19?

Paul Pierce was listed as 6?7? during his playing days and while the Truth was thick, he wasn?t Thicc like Luka. Dončić has to be pushing 260. At least 255.
Muscle ways weigh more than fat and doncic doesn?t look particularly muscular. It would be kind of crazy if he was actually 260. I think 240 is kind of the max

Good writeup by a Mavs fan about the problems our team presents defensively.

The C's should win this series.  The biggest issue for Dallas is they cannot consistently limit dribble penetration.  They don't have the personnel to do it.  Luka was exhausted by the end of the 3rd quarter.  Even after some rest he got routinely blown by.

As long the C's attack, play smart, and limit turnovers, they will win in 5.  Maybe 6.
5 or 6?  Mavs will be lucky to win one game.  How are they going to win two?

The Mavs are elite at one of the most important aspects of sports, which is dictating terms.

Dallas makes teams play on their terms of your half court sets vs. ours and they have 2 of the best isolation scorers ever in Luka and Kyrie.

Pre-Mazzulla, we?d get dragged into Mavs games and lose. With Mazzulla, we dictate terms; playing less on our heels and more on our toes. Joe has this team going into the game knowing what they want to do on both ends, the only easy shots they get are the ?we?re giving you those shots? and, when Dallas throws a wrinkle, ?we already have a counter for that?.

This Celtics are simply the best team this season. Opponents can retire on their stool or go out on their shields, either way we?re winning Championship #18.

So far Air Corgi is right in its prediction.

BOS takes the first two. Then he predicted DAL takes the next three.

I like where the Celtics are at but all of a sudden the narrative changing that the mavs are overrated and don?t stand a chance to even win a game are starting to irritate me.

It's happened, but I like our chances:

There have been 36 instances in finals history of a team trailing 0-2 to start the series and only five teams have ever come back and won the finals. Those teams are the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks, 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers, 2006 Miami Heat, 1977 Portland Trailblazers and 1969 Boston Celtics

So long as the Celtics themselves don't treat it like it's over, we'll be fine.

Oh, you are starting to get irritated by posters on CS? I guess welcome to the club.

The fans have no impact on the games. There?s no way that this team, hungry to cross the finish line for the first time, quits over the next 5 games because of bloggers.

I absolutely like our chances too but there are still games to be played. KP potentially injured and Tatum in his own head. This thing COULD swing.
Jrue being part of the last team that won the finals after being down 2-0 gives me some reassurance that he will tell the team this is far from over.

My narrative hasn't changed.  This is a very good matchup for the Celts.  Do the Celts all of a sudden forget how to play good defense?  Do Luka and Kyrie somehow stop being defensive liabilities?

Completely disagree. This team has a lot of fight. Game 2 was a great example. They were locked in defensively, even when the shots weren?t going. Even when Dallas made their push with less than 3 minutes, DWhite makes an all world block. I don?t remember a more clutch block since Lebron vs the Warriors. It irritates me when bloggers insinuate that this isn?t a mentally strong team. They?ve proved it all year long.

BINGO! i do get the timidness tho of fans wanting to emulate what the players should be doing and that is not looking ahead.

1 game at a time. Lets get up 3-0 and see how dallas responds. i think they will crash and burn and quit if we win game 3. however they are favored and most expect a dallas win for game 3 due to the desperation. we just need to steal 1 there and close out at home.

C's in 5!

this thing is not going past 5.

i think we have seen dallas best shot also while we can get way better.

i think they have no answer for us. i hardly say that but that is what i am seeing. as long as we do not beat ourselves this could be like shooting fish in a barrel the rest of the way.

i mean what can dallas do? leave luka in and we drive on him all night, sit him and they lose most their offense. dallas is in deep trouble.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Dance in their grave when the series is actually over.

I mean, while some posters here who?ve talked up other teams all season while the Celtics won 64 games with a massive point-differential and then cruised through three rounds of the playoffs, others of us had different expectations of how this series might go.  We looked at a Dallas roster that had two players you could and should hunt on defense, and have watched the Celtics do exactly that.  The strategy was obvious, and the Mavs have had no answer, because there is no answer for them.  They need both Luka and Kyrie on the floor, so all they can do is hope that the Celtics will miss a sufficient number of the many great looks they?re going to get and Luka magic will win them games.  And then they went and lost a game where the Celtics did miss those shots, and we haven?t yet had a game where the Celtics make even more of them than normal.  The Mavs have no chance.  They might win a game, because maybe they get another game where the C?s miss everything again, or they can?t miss on offense, but they aren?t going to win the series, and they aren?t going to win 2 of the next 3 to send it to 6, because they are who they are, and who they are is a team that is in over its head.

They remind me a lot of the 2016 Celtics with IT.  Like Luka, IT had a borderline MVP year on offense, and they were able to hide him on defense for the early rounds.  But then they ran into an opponent who knew what they were doing, and went after a hurt IT on defense every time down the court.  The Celtics still stole a game, as the Mavs might, and hopefully Luka isn?t as hurt as IT was, but the Mavs are simply of a lesser class than the Celtics.

The narrative about the Mavs isn?t changing ? more people are just realizing truly who the Celtics are and who the Mavs are.  You haven?t yet, obviously.
