My God this board is insufferable after a loss.

Celtics are not going to win 82 games. This was a bad loss. But honestly they just looked tired. Everyone was front running shots, missing fts.

And for those saying we haven't beaten anybody. You do realize our strength of schedule has been tougher than Philly or Milwaukee. We mostly have played teams above .500

We have played Philly twice and split and played the Timberwolves and lost and beat the heat.
What are the other good teams we beat? I’m waiting for someone to provide an answer. It’s a bunch of middling average , non contending teams. Pacers without haliburton. Knicks twice, raptors twice, nets, wizards and grizzlies.
The numbers can say whatever they want but that’s not impressive.
Where are the impressive wins?

It's early days yet, that's fair enough, but at what point would you say 'you are what your record says you are' starts to apply to the C's?

Considering the Celtics hit the all star break last season as the consensus best team with the best record and then completely fell off a cliff it’s gonna take a while. There’s 68 games left, them having the best record 14 games in means nothing to me especially when all but 2 wins come against the raptors, Knicks and wizards of the world
Fair enough :)

Woke up still mad. What a gutless performance. Double digits leads blown twice because they just went through the motions.

Brown still playing hero ball when he can't shoot.

Holiday missing layups and free throws.

As odd as it sounds, I'm more upset about the win in Memphis than the loss in Charlotte.

At least Charlotte has some talent, and the Celts were tired and short-handed last night.  Against Memphis, we were playing a depleted team that was playing in its own B2B, and we barely squeaked by.

It is juste one game of course and many overeact. I would also if I posted when I waked UP at 5am to watch the end of the game. Denver chocked badly some matches last year, loose 4 matches in a row ag Bulls SA Brooklyn and Toronto, took 30 points ag Portland loose 5 of there last 7 matches). Denver had criticism for their inabilty to win the title, to have limitations... Same as Milwauke etc...

So this loose don t tell much, even with the fact WE already had dirty loses and periods last years. Because teams Can fail many years and win it. They fail some regular Season matches and win it.

When we win we are not unbeatable suddenly, last year we begun in the same excellent way. With Smart Willis and no Holliday Porzingus. This team look great, Tatum is looking Sky limit and honnestly it is thé most important thing. But WE have to wait, to make serious supposition and wait may june to know.

I gett 3 realistic interrogations for this match : Mazzula is great for some things, but Still look dogmatic and the persistence of not using correctly timeout or find a schem is strange. Second I was vert disapointed on some Brown decisions last year PO, plus Real handling problems. He has his contract, he had his superstar year now he has to accept to have a little less shoot, to feed Porzingis essentialy, but to be more efficient. If not his Big contract may feed pour core around Tatum next year. The 3rd problem is we play too much our starters, they look already tired in november. We have or to make trade or to accept to loose more matches, playing scrubbs until WE CAN upgrade them. But then accept some losses and finish maybe 3rd in the east.

Jrue’s had a rough couple of games, but came through in the clutch with 3 big assists vs Memphis.  No one else I’d rather have at the line than him in the situation they had last night, but 💩 happens.  I remember Larry Bird missing two free throws vs Philly in that situation and they lost on a 3.

Anyhow…they shouldn’t have been in that position.  Tough loss.  On to the Bucks.
Yup

This is fair. I’m equally as mad about both games and they desperately tried to choke away the game against the raptors the game before, falling asleep and giving up a 32-19 third quarter.

Raptors, grizzlies and hornets are 3 of the worst teams in the league.

After sleeping on it, I’m over it. Every team has some bad loses during a season. Considering it was the second night of a back to back at the end of a 4 game road trip and factoring in they were missing 2 top players, it’s not the end of the world.
Agree that it was certainly a winnable game, but no one but Tatum or Payton could hit a shot. Then Tatum ran out of gas. They had a bad game, but they happen during the course of 82 games.
On a side note, on know it’s only 2 games, but it seems Houser doesn’t shot well when he starts

Pretty much how I see it.  One thing that does get me is that Charlotte seemed to have a few runs at critical moments and Joe never called a timeout.  I'll admit I didn't watch the game so all the information I have is from this site.  Even if it's nothing else but to disrupt the other team's momentum.

Not that surprised.  Charlotte is a pesky team and the Celtics will have a target on them because of their record.  Next game against Milwaukee so hopefully they got it out of their system and come out focused.

Im over it too but not willing to give this team excuses. It was the third performance like that in a row and this time it earned them a well deserved loss. They have a chance for there 3rd impressive win Wednesday night so we will see

The Celtics missed 10 free throws in a 3 point game...

This cost the Cs the game.  Came into the game shooting foul shots over 80%.  Shot 18/28  64%.  4 more shots made and they are at 80% and they win the game.  I know this is over simplifying the game and they also had 13 turnovers but make 4 more foul shots and you win...especially Jrue at the end.

I know a lot of people are criticizing Mazzulla and Holiday for last night, which is fair. But Jaylen to me has been very disappointing overall to start the season, including last night. This is a 300M player?? And frankly, what has he really improved in recent years? Because he definitely hasn't improved the decision-making, dribbling, poor turnovers, etc. He's really only had 5 good games, and most of the others are bad or mediocre.

There are always so many more posts when the Celtics lose than when they win.

Dude have you seen Twitter in the past 12 hours. You would think the Celtics and Bruins were officially eliminated from the playoffs after last night's results
