Tatum walking around at Pats practice today.  No boot.

I know he has a long way to go yet and he was only walking around without a boot, but honestly I had to look up which leg got hurt because I could not tell from that video.  He will play this season.

I hope he doesn't, because I think a higher draft pick will help the reset.  But, I think he's on pace.  I read a report from Heavy the other day that he didn't have much of a limp, and I was skeptical.  That seems to confirm it, though.

I still think he'll end up coming back in March. We can debate if that's the right move but this is JT, a guy who never wants to miss any game. Also, people reference Durant a lot but what they forget is, Durant was actually also on track to theoretically return March-April but COVID hit, and then they decided to just let him rest/rehab further. It's not like Durant actually took 18 entire months to recover, COVID got in the way too and impacted things + the schedule. KD also got hurt late in the Finals series, whereas JT was a month earlier based on playoff schedule.

It's possible Lillard could also end up coming back later this season.

He?ll play but maybe not well enough or long enough to impact the draft.

Another remote possibility is that the Celtics look better than most here predict, and Brad pulls something interesting off at the deadline - and Tatum is back late February and looking 100% by the playoffs.  I guess remote possibility is overstating the likelihood.
