Lol tomorrow could be White, Pritchard and the Hospital Celtics

Quote
Injury Report for tomorrow vs. Portland (1/2):

Jaylen Brown (illness, non-Covid) - QUESTIONABLE
Jrue Holiday (right hand mallet finger - DOUBTFUL
Kristaps Porzingis (illness, non-Covid) - DOUBTFUL
Payton Pritchard (left hip flexor tightness) - PROBABLE
Jayson Tatum (right shoulder impingement) - QUESTIONABLE
Derrick White (low back contusion) - PROBABLE

So did Porzingis get hit by the plague or something??  :P

I read he did go through parts of practice. But with this being a B2B, who knows which game he?ll skip.

Yeah I guess.

I'm just praying they ALL decide to suit up and play Saturday against the Lakers. I am BEGGING. I will be very mad if they decide to sit like 3 guys (Jrue is the exception, he has the mallet finger which is a legit injury, everyone else PLAY)

People can hate him or call him "corny", but what this man is doing is legendary stuff. There's so many records and milestones that Lebron has hit in his career that people didn't think others could reach, and yet Tatum has (or he's come close which is still way better than most others can say).

And there's a bunch of other stats and categories where Tatum is on a same list with only about 5-6 other players, usually other legends like Lebron, Wilt, Jordan, etc.
good post. and i find it quite yummy that both LA and Philly passed on tatum in the draft.  ;D

And then from out of nowhere the Lakers are gifted with Luka Doncic. Ugh.

They were gifted with Anthony Davis and one title in the bubble. Now they're gifted with Luka Doncic and possibly multiple titles down the road. Major ugh.

A part of me is happy that the Lakers are in the middle of a nice win streak. Hopefully the law of averages catch up with them come saturday. I hope we carve out a convincing win.

Hope so, but I'm already dreading the injury report listing like 6 guys all questionable or doubtful lol. And then it's basically Tatum, White and the bench vs. all the Lakers players

Jayson Tatum had the highest plus/minus of any player in NBA history before turning 27. By a landslide.

1. Jayson Tatum: +3,528
2. Tony Parker: +3,218
3. Tim Duncan: +3,090
4. LeBron James: +2,966
5. Dirk Nowitzki: +2,787

So, that's cumulative, right?

What jumps out to me, if so, is Duncan at #3.  The other 4 guys came into the league as teenagers while Duncan was a rookie at 21.  That speaks to just how much he impacted the Spurs right out of the gate and how good they were.
