I?m not comfortable playing the Lakers in the finals with Lebron still there. Silver might move heaven and earth to hand him another title.

People can hate him or call him "corny", but what this man is doing is legendary stuff. There's so many records and milestones that Lebron has hit in his career that people didn't think others could reach, and yet Tatum has (or he's come close which is still way better than most others can say).

And there's a bunch of other stats and categories where Tatum is on a same list with only about 5-6 other players, usually other legends like Lebron, Wilt, Jordan, etc.
good post. and i find it quite yummy that both LA and Philly passed on tatum in the draft.  ;D

And then from out of nowhere the Lakers are gifted with Luka Doncic. Ugh.

They were gifted with Anthony Davis and one title in the bubble. Now they're gifted with Luka Doncic and possibly multiple titles down the road. Major ugh.

Forgot Pau Gasol. That was a heist as well.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Looking more and more like Lakers/Celtics Finals and this Saturday would be an NBA Finals preview. And until we can beat LeBron in the playoffs in this era, we're still chumps.

Ok, the Knicks blew a lead and lost to the Lakers in OT. This makes me feel a lot more confident on Saturday. Hope our guys bring their A game and dismantle the Lakers!

Celtics are finding their groove right now.  White's finally playing better and Pritchard has been on fire.  Tatum is locked in too.  Would love to have Porzingis back on Saturday.

8:30PM game on a Saturday night in Boston?  That crowd is going to be electric (and I'll be there).  I think we're going to see a Celtics team locked in and playing gangbusters.  I'd be absolutely shocked to see them lay an egg.

Brunson got injured right?  Was he out for a good portion of the game?

I could probably just look it up myself but I hate going to ESPN after a laker win (though this site isn't much better in that situation).

He got hurt during OT. Took the free throws then left the game
