If you want to debate DEN vs. BOS, it is clear that BOS had a better regular season overall, more wins, better points differential.  But that does not mean that BOS is necessarily the better team.  I would say that in general, BOS is getting a little overhyped by the casual fan and DEN a little underhyped.  In the 2 head to head regular season games, BOS had no answer for Jokic.  Porzingis couldn't do anything to stop him.  And Murray went off big time in the game in BOS.

As to the Brown vs. Murray debate.  I see Murray as having the better top end.  When he is healthy and at his best, he is a little better than Brown.  But he has not been at that level very much.  Brown has been more durable, leading to being more consistent.  When Murray is good, DEN is good.  When he isn't, DEN is much more beatable.

It would be getting WAAAYYY ahead of ourselves to start a debate about which team will do better in the playoffs this season if they were to meet in the finals.  I will just say that this is the finals I expect and most likely per betting odds.

Very well said, agree with everything.
Celtics have 0 answers for Jokic and the nuggets have a pretty good answer for Tatum. Like I said originally, Celtics will have to play near perfect basketball to beat Denver, it’s possible but I see them as simply the better team with equal/better overall talent.

I think you need to go to the hospital and have them check that bump on your head.  In both matchups, neither team played anywhere close to perfect basketball.  One thing that would help is Jaylen hitting his FTs:  0-2 in 2-point loss and 7-14 in 6-point loss.  The Celts having home court is going to be a significant advantage.

I think the Dallas vs LA Clippers is the only game I am interested in today.

I can't even get interested in the Celtics game. Not without Jimmy. That is not an interesting series. I think I'll wait until Round 2 to see the Celtics.

Indiana and Milwaukee would be interesting if Giannis was playing but it is not interesting without Giannis. Indy should take care of business here.

New Orleans are still a formidable team without Zion but OKC is a bad matchup for them. NOP gets an advantage (without Zion) from being a small perimeter team that is hard to matchup with but that is exactly how OKC play normally so no added advantage. Merely playing to the advantage of OKC. OKC should handle them comfortably.

Don’t think the Lakers are gonna have much better chances of winning games this series. AD went off. And while D’Lo was horrific shooting, the Lakers overall still shot nearly 50% from the field. Better than Denver. Murray was also only 9-24 so he was bad too. And still, felt like Denver had it all game and they did despite falling behind 12 near halftime.

Lakers will take a game but I still feel Nuggets in 5. Similar to how Miami and even Golden State in recent years seemed to be in our heads and have our number, Denver is that team for the Lakers but they are also just straight up more talented than LAL too

I wouldn't be too down if I were LAL. Their supporting cast didn't show up. They can play better than they did today.

Their bench isn't that good. There's a reason AD had to play 44 minutes last night and probably has to average that this whole series. I give the Lakers a game because Lebron/AD and that team will definitely get hot for a game. Jamal Murray last night also shot terribly (9-24) and he usually torches them.

Skip Bayless is saying Kawhi won't play in Gm 1.

I am not that concerned about the bench. More about D Russell and Reeves. They need those two guys to show up. They have no chance without them.

Unreal. I’m so done with the clippers it’s not even funny.

He actually has legit sources and a relationship with Kawhi's camp. Skip said this a few days ago and then Woj basically confirmed it yesterday as well. So yeah... the Kawhi saga begins. It's not just about Game 1, he could be really hurt again and they are just trying to "ease things" and "hope" he returns later this series.

If he misses most of this series I might go DAL in 5. I had DAL in 7 originally. Sorry but "Playoff P" and Harden leading the charge with no Kawhi is not gonna inspire much postseason confidence

Who is everyone rooting for - Clippers or Mavs? Personally, I'd prefer the Clippers to win, but I think Dallas gives Denver more of a problem and has a higher chance of knocking them off. So I'm split.

I'm torn. I despise LA and especially Harden. I don't like Kawhi either actually.

But i absolutely hate Kyrie Irving. Doncic is annoying. But Kyrie is scum.

I always look at that #55 for Dallas and wonder "who the heck is that?"

Every single game. Without fail. Such a strange number for a SF and such a forgettable player. Derrick Jones Jr.

I can't warm to the Clippers. They are still Donald Sterling's team, the 2nd team in LA, the Lakers ugly little brother to me.

I love Luka. So Dallas all the way for me.

Can someone explain to me why teams like Derrick Jones Jr. so much? Feel like everywhere he goes he either starts or plays big minutes. As far as I can tell he really doesn’t do anything particularly well aside from Jump really high.

I don't really care, I'm neutral about it. I picked Dallas in 7. I do think this series will be box office and electric from start to finish. Even so far today it's been awesome, great pace on both ends

Idk when Kawhi comes back though. Sucks he's not playing today.
