I don't know who's the most delusional right now; Bucks fans, Heat fans, or Laker fans.

Heat fans still think they are flipping the switch and going on a magical run like last year.  All I have heard is the regular season doesn’t matter to them because they will show up for the playoffs. Still living off the same lazy narrative if they play the Celtics.

As they are currently getting smoked at home by Dallas. If Miami is able to go on another run I would pretty much give up on the NBA regular season.

They seem to be very flawed. Watched them get their heads beat in several times in the past few weeks. They are slow and plodding. Really struggle to score.

They play with very little pace.

Do you not remember everyone saying the same exact thing last year before the playoffs? Word for word almost. They were actually probably slightly worse headed into last postseason. I do not count them out.

You make a valid point. Not counting them out or any other team at all. Playoffs are going to be a grind. I get last year but the Giannis injury really was the only reason they got out of the first round.

I would hope Boston would have learned from last season vs Miami. I just don’t see them getting on a run like that this time. Would the Celtics sweep them? No. Probably a 5 or 6 game series.
If they would lose in the first round to Miami, then that would be beyond disappointing and deflating. Time will tell I guess.

Heat look pretty much locked into being on the road for the play game (most likely at Philly). I don’t see them winning that game.

That means a do or die game vs the bulls (who are streaky) or Atlanta with Trey young back. That won’t be easy.

They won't be shooting over.tbeir heads from 3 again. Last year was an outlier. Given how the league isn't calling g as many fouls, their merchant has a big part of his game taken put.

They're finished.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

That’s fine you feel that way and all but the literal same things were being said last season, and while I agree it was an “outlier” I’m not sure how you could guarantee they won’t get hot from 3 again and go on a run. I like the Celtics chances and think they should win but uh this “rivalry” has been anything but easy on the Celtics

Well, this win for Milwaukee tonight makes it fairly likely that they stay in second place, though it's still not for sure yet, especially with Boston looking like we may do lots of rest tomorrow against NYK.

It's an interesting dilemma for Milwaukee, as they don't really have good options. It's likely to be them facing Philly or Miami at 7 or Indy at 6, with none of these ideal options given the context of how they've either played them this year (Indy), their playoff history against them (Miami), or the emergence of their healthy star (Philly).

I just hope Boston don't pull a 2023 Bruins...best record in regular season only to look deflated in the first-round. C's need to dominate all facets of every game and every quarter.

Felt the Bruins overachieved last season. That was their ceiling. I do think the Celtics have another level they can get to.

Really would like the sixers to get to 6 and then the Heat to beat the pacers in the play in. That could put Milwaukee, Orlando, Philly and Miami on one side of the bracket.

Man, I think Minny may have a legitimate shot at knocking off Denver and coming out of the West. They seem to matchup well with Denver with both the interior and perimeter defense to make life difficult for Denver's offense. They also don't have a good defender to matchup with Edwards, and their offense should only improve with KAT returning in the next game or two.

The West playoffs is going to be a bloodbath.

If the Sixers win their last 2 games, they'll finish in 6th or possibly 5th place.

Correction:  Apparently if the Sixers, Magic and Pacers all end up tied, the Sixers would still end up 7th because the Magic win the tiebreaker due to being a division winner.

Gobert looks like he can hold his own with Gobert on the boards and in the interior.
