Probably have to slow the Philly hype train. Embid left game and went straight to locker room. Called a timeout to get him off court. Not sure if serious but a concerning sight

He’s not near 100 percent.
3 minutes into the 2nd half and he's at 26pts, 10reb, 7ast.  Pretty good for not near 100 percent.

Almost as good as PP 6 min into the 2nd half with 29pts, 11ast,2reb,1stl and 6'1"...not too shabby

He was prett darn ddominant in the first half but was not nearly as effective in third. Not sure bringing him back in was the right move. Now at 28-10-7 in 4th and missed a bunch of shots in third. This game doesn’t matter that much for Philly imo they aren’t going to lose to heat and then hawks or bulls and miss playoffs if Embid can play. If he can’t, they might.

Well, looking good on the opportunity to get Philly out of the play-in. They're comfortably ahead of Orlando midway through the fourth, and Cleveland up 7 on Indy. They'll all three be tied after tonight if these results hold.

Though if I heard Zach Lowe right, the Sixers actually lose in that scenario if they all end up tied, so hopefully one of Orlando or Indy loses again.

Yes the 1st tie breaker in a 3+ team tie is division winner.  So the Magic would get 5th seed.  Then the Pacers would get 6th seed due to head-to-head against the Sixers.

We’re going to find out over next few weeks. Playoffs a different animal.

Still think the knee is going to be an issue at some point.

Bucks just might miss the sixers in round one

Whoever the Bucks and 76ers' opponents are in Round 1, they better at least give 'em fits. Both teams are expected to advance to the East Semis if they don't face each other in the first-round.

I overall like Brunson, but the more I watch him the more I dislike him. He's a Lowry-level flopper.

Oh my God, the Spurs might've just snatched the first seed from the Nuggets on a .9 second go-ahead basket!

Teams definitely want to avoid 9 and 10 but aside from that all these teams care way more about being healthy than anything else. Look what Dallas and the bucks did tonight. Dallas could have gotten homecourt for their series but opted to rest doncic and Irving.

Holy cow. What a blunder by the Nuggets. That could very well be a championship-defining (losing) loss given how tough the West is, and there's a good chance this may have just took the Nuggets from first seed in the West to third seed, which is a much different path and likely not having homecourt for three of the four series. Wow.

The Wolves have to finish off the Hawks, though.

EDIT: Actually, not sure what would happen if it's a three-way tie among Denver, Minny, and OKC. Anyone know? I know OKC has the tiebreaker over Denver individually, and I believed that Minny had it over Denver, too. But not positive, as I think they split the season series.

How much worse is it if the nuggets play the Thunder or Minnesota in second round instead of clippers or Mavs? I think they would rather play the Thunder than Dallas tbh. I guess I am
In the minority here but I really don’t understand why people are going so nuts over matchups when there are like 6 teams within 2 games of each other.

This loss for nuggets does not even change their title odds so calling it a championship defining loss seems a bit preposterous to me

And the Lakers might have caught a break. Nuggets stunning loss could now mean they face MIN or OKC first round. I’d still pick MIN to beat them in a series but OKC will not beat LAL first round. And LAL could still have a decent chance against MIN, it’s not impossible for them at all compared to if it were Denver

Okay, the Timberwolves broadcast is saying it'd go Minny, OKC, Denver due to conference record if all three tied. Yeah, crazy stuff.

If the Warriors can beat the Pelicans and the Suns beat the Kings tonight, you could have the Suns versus Denver in the first round for that scenario. So Denver's path would likely go:

1st Round - Phoenix
Second Round - OKC or one of the play-in teams
Conference Finals - likely one of Minnesota, Dallas, or LAC

And they'd only have home court advantage for the first round. Yikes. While I'd rather have Dallas or OKC in there at the second round, that's a much more difficult path than they had last year, and they could very well struggle to make it out of the West.

Very good news for us. The tougher their road the better, as they're our biggest competition in the league.

Ugh. Hope GSW and whoever else in the playing rounds beat the Lakers. Them facing the Wolves in round 1 gives them more hope than facing the Nuggets. If they draw OKC then LAL takes it.

Silly blunder by the Nuggets. Maybe this year isn't it for them with all the losses they've piled up. The Celtics should have no business losing this season then.
