Wait...so LeBron is out with "flu-like symptoms" so he can help give the Wolves the #1 seed over the Nuggets is what I hearing on social media  ???

That’s a pretty weird theory, because if the Lakers won the game they’d have a better chance at playing in the 7-8 game, thus getting the 7th seed and getting the Wolves anyway, while playing one less play-in game.  I’m a Lebron conspiracy theorist myself, but winning tonight is better for the Lakers.

Yeah. They can also possibly get the #6 seed if they win the rest of the way, but will need some help from a few teams as well.

Tough night for your lakers fandom. Did you want me to put that +2200 down for you for them to make the finals or are you kind of being tongue in cheek with it all?

Doc Rivers Calls Out Bucks for 'Inexcusable' Losses to Raptors, Grizzlies, Wizards. Said that one of the officials told him during the game, "Man, you can feel the heaviness of your team right now"

I think Pacers and Philly end up 6 or 7 in some order.

I think the 8 seed will be the Heat or Bulls.

Miami looks so pedestrian....even more so than last year at this time. I think this idea that the Heat just flip the switch to playoff mode is a little misleading. Last year they probably do not get out of the first round if Giannis does not get hurt. Then in game 7 JT rolls his ankle in a pretty bad way.

IF it is Boston v Miami...I just do not see the Celtics taking Miami in passing. C's will be pretty excited to get them to lay that narrative to rest. Plus, I do not see this team losing three games at home vs this Heat team in a series.

Boston v Miami/Bulls
Bucks v Sixers
Magic v Pacers
Cavs v Knicks

If Boston can get by the Heat, they have a great draw in that situation.

I feel like half this board would do a better job with the Bucks than Doc is doing. Gives me great pleasure, as I've never liked Doc.  Thst said, I still don't want to play Giannis and Dame in a playoff series.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Here is what I do tomorrow. I rest the top 6. Give the Bucks a win. Why? You want the Bucks to stay in the 2 seed in order to draw the sixers in round one.

This game is meaningless. Rest your guys. Let PP, Hauser, Kornet, etc play.

You mean 2nd seed but yes I’m on board with a tank game.

Wouldn't surprise me if MIL sat out one of their guys, probably Lillard. Remember last time when they rested Giannis against the C's?

I think the Bucks have been getting exposed lately but I also wonder if they are strategically playing seedings too. Maybe they want to tank and face IND or a non-PHI team in the first round and their best bet would be the 3 seed? Because if they play PHI or even MIA first round I could really see them getting upset. IND has given them fits but I still think MIL could edge them in a series

At first I was really confused as to why there were no NBA games today. Then I remembered because of March Madness Finals. Duh...

Thought there was some holiday or that the Eclipse was considered some "special occasion" LOL

I know a lot can still change and the play-in will also affect things. But right now, the matchups are:

Wolves vs. Kings/Lakers/Warriors
Nuggets vs. Pelicans/Kings
Thunder vs. Suns
Clippers vs. Mavericks

Celtics vs. Heat/Bulls
Bucks vs. Sixers
Magic vs. Pacers
Knicks vs. Cavaliers.

Have to say, there's a lot of spicy matchups there. Thunder-Suns will be electric with it also being Durant vs. his former team. Clips-Mavs is always good. Cs-Heat, Bucks-Sixers, all great too. Knicks-Cavs is sort of becoming a nice rivalry too and they faced each other last April. Even Magic-Pacers is pretty good with two young up-and-coming teams battling it out.

Also, Nuggets and Wolves face each other tomorrow. That could truly determine who the 1 seed is in the West. MIN currently leads season series 2-1.

You think they would've learned their lesson from ducking the nets in 2022.

To be fair I was someone who also wanted the C's to intentionally tank to avoid BKN that year

Tonight's Lakers-Warriors game is pretty massive. If Golden State wins, they hold the tiebreaker over the Lakers and would both be tied in the loss column. If Lakers win, they are pretty much guaranteed to finish ahead of Golden State and could probably have a good chance at even getting in the 7-8 bracket.

Hoping Golden State wins and Sacramento can stay ahead of LAL. Then LAL would drop to 10 and would need to win two road games just to make it (and hopefully then play Denver lol)

I never ever want the Lakers to win anything ….not even a game of shuffleboard

This does not sound good:

Doc Rivers on the concern level with Giannis Antetokounmpo's left calf injury:

"That's a good question. High. But he's Giannis. I think everyone probably feels the same way as I do right now. We're just going hope for the best."
