If the Pistons can't win tonight then idk when it'll happen. Maybe not until around MLK when they play San Antonio and Washington during a stretch but that's not for a few weeks lol

Oh they definitely will win a game or two during that stretch. They nearly beat Boston the other night at the Garden. They're slowly coming together.

I was high on Quickley and thought he was worth more than that.  Maybe RJ’s value is worse than I realize, though, and this is less “Toronto acquires RJ” and more “NY gets out from under RJ.”  That might make a little more sense from the Knicks’ perspective.

Still think the Raptors did well here though.  Got a starter-level lead guard that they sorely needed for an expiring 3-and-D forward who, while good, has become somewhat overrated imo.

Is Quickley a point guard or a shooting guard?

Is he enough of a PG to be a starting PG or more of a combo guard off the bench like Jamal Crawford was?

He's not a plus passer but I think his multilevel scoring and defense are strong enough to have a lot of value in a starting lineup.  Especially since Barnes and (for now) Siakam are both good playmakers who can shoulder a lot of the distribution duties.

Not a guy who I'd splash into just any team but I think he has a great chance to succeed in Toronto.

Was watching the pacers vs knicks game, Indiana is another team whose rotation is a mess. Save for Turner and Hali, players have been inserted in and out of the starting line up but the minutes tend to be almost equal between the starters and the bench guys.

Pistons went from up 9 with 1:35 left to winning by 2, and eeking out a win.
Good for them!

Nice win by Detroit! But you have to feel for Toronto too. Siakam and Schroeder played hard. They were undermanned but fought til the end.

Glad Pistons won before the C’s play them again.

What a way to wrap up the 28 game losing streak before the end of the year.

Well, time for them to start a new 28 losing streak in 2024!  😂

What happened to Andrew Wiggins? His game fell off a cliff…  :-X

Warriors do not look good at all. Kerr on the hot seat yet?

Gosh, that was a nice move by Ant. T-Mac-esque. The crossovers, the pullback and drilled the J in the defender's face.
