Things got pretty chippy early in the Wolves-Warriors game in the 1st quarter.

Jaden Mcdaniels got into it with Klay and tore his jersey. Gobert goes in and tries to headlock McDaniels and then, of course, Draymond come from behind and headlocks Gobert.

McDaniels, Klay, and Draymond all ejected. Draymond with flagrant 2.

Not even sure how that started… Unless they have a history of each other. They just didn’t seem to want to let go of each other’s jersey and it escalated.

Draymond has to be suspended for multiple games, right? Gobert was trying to break up the altercation. There was no reason for Draymond to grab him in a chokehold, drag him several feet, and refuse to let go. That's absurd behavior.

Agreed 100%.  He's out of control and there's no benefit of the doubt left.  It's time for the league to give him a long break.

He should, but knowing him and the Warriors, he'll just get 1 game suspension for that.

Draymond is completely out of control. Ridiculous.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Clips are cooked. Completely blew this game down the stretch with poor D and awful iso offense. Reminded me of last year’s Celtics.

Green will get away with 1 or 2 game suspension at most.  The NBA for some reason just wants to let him injure another player before they will bring down the hammer.  I am not for violence in the NBA, but if you are on the receiving end of all of the bs behavior by Green, how do you not retaliate?

I mean if you knew the NBA front office would take care of this problem, well then let them do it.  But they won't.

Green is just out of control.

Clippers lost 6 straight games. At first they looked like all-world beaters opening the season, now they look like they've seen ghosts. James Harden effect.

I was waiting for another Wolves player to throw a sucker punch at Draymond's head, Ron Artest style, because the league's punishment imposed on Draymond is at best soft. But ofc, whoever does that will probably get a 50 game suspension.

Do Warriors fans even like Draymond at this point? I understand the basketball impact he can have but all this other nonsense is absurd. Like I hate that he thinks he’s some steward of the ‘code’ or something. Not a huge Gobert fan either, but that was so whack.

I would assume that the lifers root for him and the front runners are getting their Celtics kit fitted as we speak.

What’s a good number for this? 3-5 games?

It better be much more than 3-5 games.  There’s no place for that at all.  Gobert has gotta be like 270 lbs and if he doesn’t have his footing and is just being help up by someone choking him, he could’ve gotten hurt.  Not to mention the fact that Draymond was escalating the situation for absolutely no reason.  I think Gobert was on to something with his postgame comments.  Draymond doesn’t want to play without Steph because it exposes how vastly overrated he is so he looked for any excuse to get ejected.

Given his history and the act itself I'd give him 10 games.

Heck if a police officer did what Draymond did to a resisting criminal suspect the officer would be looking at potential firing and criminal charges.

5 is the absolute minimum.  I think it will be 8 (1/10th of the season).

Smart joins Brogdon and Rob as ex-Celtics who have all gone down with leg/foot injuries within the first 10 games of the season.

Not a good club to be in, hope Smart's injury is a minor one, but it looked like he rolled the same ankle that gave him some non-insignificant trouble last year.
