Giannis with 54pts in a loss to Indy. Gotta love it.

TJ McConnell rotting on Indy's bench along with Theis. Would love to get one or both of them on the Celtics.
Pritchard for McConnell would be nice business.

Indy gets a younger developing player. BOS gets the more established veteran. Win later player for a win later team in exchange for a win now player for a win now team.

indy have 7 players averaging double digit points.

An 8th averaging 9.3ppg and a 9th guy at 8.4ppg.

Chet Holmgren’s shooting splits: 57/55/90.

Ridiculous.

Milwaukee didn't have Lillard but even if he played, he's probably just taking away some of the 54 points Giannis put up. Their problem remains defense. Teams will put up 120+ on them constantly and the better teams can even do 130-140+

Right now I'd still consider the Top-3 in the East, Boston-Philly-Milwaukee in that order.

The C's had a tough loss to PHI but I'm not worried. Even in recent years the C's will typically drop a game to PHI in the regular season, usually on the road. It happens. When it matters I still love Boston's chances. Embiid will wear out late in the season as he typically does

Was going to post the same thing.

That foursome doesn't seem like it's going to work out. It's two pairings of wings and point guards that have each have very similar skillsets (Kawhi/PG) and (PG/Russ), and they all need the ball a lot to be effective, particularly the guards. There's also some difficult personalities there that might make meshing hard, again with the guards, along with the obvious injury risks.

When you compare them to say our "Big 4", there's not really a comparison in terms of overall fit and the weaknesses. I think they'll also have some of the same issues as Milwaukee with guards being able to really take advantage of their point of attach defense.

Memphis lose another game. Smart played 24 mins and fouled out. It still early but will Ja be able to turn this thing around in time or are they better off tanking for a lottery pick? I feel bad for Smart. We traded him to what was supposed to be a top contender in the West.

Smart fouled out in 25mins of play. Finished with 8pts/1reb/2ast. 3-9 from the field, 0-4 from 3pt. Oof…

Clippers lose again. Now 0-3 since adding Harden.

They are just bad right now as a team. Even last year when they had to go without Adams and Morant, they weren't this bad. It's not Smart's fault, although he isn't helping the situation get better. They lost a lot of confidence. They were the young, exciting team, but they lost something. If they don't get it back soon, they could be sellers.
