Seems like Robinson shouldn?t even be in during crunch time. It?s just asking for trouble.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Nets' rookie got baptized, lol.  Got them to OT with a great three.  Lost them the game with two smoked bunnies back-to-back and then a free education by JT for the game winner.

Great win.  Nothing free in this league.

Yes, he was in everything? He was making threes in the fourth quarter talking a lot of trash, kept them in the game, lost DW in that late fourth-quarter dunk that nearly led to our win in regulation , forced overtime with that off-balance three, then smoked two layups and was the guy guarding Tatum on that last possession. Kids got some guts though I gotta give him credit for not shying away from the moment

Jt taught hima  lesson

if you swing for the king u better not miss

Jt took him to town on the winner

It was also his mistake going for a layup with a shot clock off, should?ve dribble it out, but tried to play hero ball? went from hero to zero to hero to zero all in the space of 20 minutes

Unfortunately, the only reason he was in was because Q fouled out. They had Garza and Robinson on the court to make sure they got the offensive rebound after deliberately missed the second. If we hadn?t secured the rebound and they had scored on a put back everyone would be blaming Joe for not putting one of the best offensive rebounders in the NBA in after Q fouled out. It was a tough judgment call and he trusted the guy to be in that position and unfortunately, while he got the rebound, he missed the foul shots. Personally, I blame Tatum for missing his second free-throw, I was expecting Robinson to miss his, but you?d expect Tatum to make his.

But yes, I think the plan is for him to not play at the end of games, but Q needs to not foul out. And Robinson needs to be better at shooting free throw throws but given how many years he?s been bad he?s probably not gonna improve.

Here's what Joe said about why Robinson was in the game during those crucial moments. He wanted to empower Robinson and make him feel like he could rely on  him.

Quote
Mazzulla said it was fair to wonder why Robinson was in the game in that vulnerable spot, but stood by the decision.

?There?s times where you have to empower guys, and you?ve got to put guys in position to say, ?Listen, we need you. We need you to win and to be a different team, we need you to be at your best,? ? Mazzulla said. ?Mitch takes on that responsibility. I understand he?s not, you know, he?s working at his free throws, but at the end of the day, what a guy really wants is the empowerment and the belief to be like, ?You know what? You got to make these. You got to work at it. You got to make them.? ?
