NBA predictions

https://abc7ny.com/sports/nba-opening-night-experts-picks-for-east-west-and-nba-champs/13963300/

Final tally (East champs):Bucks 6, Celtics 4, Heat 1, Knicks 1.

Final tally (West champs):Nuggets 6, Warriors 3, Clippers 1, Lakers 1, Suns 1.

Final tally (NBA champs):Bucks 3, Celtics, 3, Nuggets 3, Heat 1, Suns 1, Warriors 1.

Which Player will ask for a trade:

Final tally:Embiid 5, DeRozan 2, Young 2, Towns 1.

I think Towns could definitely be on the move at some point. Minny is slated to be a luxury tax team for the 1st time in 20 years or so and they're not competitive enough to support. I wonder if they look to move him for an expiring and a pick or 2. Funny enough, Miami could be a good fit and they have Lowry's contract to facilitate a move.
I think Towns is still worth more than an expiring and 1 or 2 late 1st's, but who knows anymore.

Yeah, I don't really know how to gauge his value at this point, but the combo of his injury proneness and Minny's financial situation leads me to think they could take a lowball offer if they can move off the money.
he makes too much for Boston to acquire. I'm hoping a team like the Knicks don't get him.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I’m pretty interested to see how reeves does this year. It seems like he may have gotten a bit overhyped.

Between Reaves and Gabe Vincent, the Lakers have a lot invested in hype.

Veteran guard Bradley Beal will have to wait to make his debut for the Phoenix Suns, as he is out for Tuesday night's season opener against the Golden State Warriors, a source told Andscape's Marc J. Spears.

Nuggets started off on fire, but the Lakers have steadied and are holding firm. Be interested to see if either team puts a run together to close out the 1st half.

And every time I see Reaves, I'm look who is that farmer on the floor.  He just does not look like he should be playing in the NBA.

Ignoring the money, would you trade Porzingis for Towns?

I was baffled here people thought Vincent or Strus were good signings. Signing off a good playoff run has a bad history going back at least 30 years.

Towns doesn’t always play hard on both ends. Doubt Thibs would want round 2 of that. Knicks want Embiid.

The New York Knicks are closely monitoring the situation, hoping it ends with Embiid forcing his way out. Knicks president of basketball operations Leon Rose has made obtaining Embiid, if he becomes available, No. 1 priority, according to sources. 12 hours ago – via Keith Pompey @ The Philadelphia Inquirer

I'm sure they do, but I'm also fairly confident that 1, Philly won't trade him to NY and 2, even if they would, NY won't have the best deal on the table.

You can't really ignore the money though. KAT has a 4 year $222m extension that still hasn't kicked in, while we have Zinger on a team friendly 2 year $60m extension. Our tax situation is going to be rough once we extend Tatum, White, and presumably Jrue.

Does Michael Porter, Jr. only shoot 3's? Does he do anything else offensively?

Asking seriously as I didn't watch much of the Nuggets last season.
