With an hour left, no moves for either Golden State or the Lakers?

The probable path for Los Angeles Lakers is standing pat at trade deadline with potential to acquire another star player in the offseason when armed with three first-round picks, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

I think that's a tell that the Lakers will indeed stand pat.

LeBron isn't getting any younger.

Nope. I do think there's a real chance he leaves this offseason. I'm not ruling out him going to New York. He did speak about thinking about playing there in the past, and it makes a lot of sense for all parties. Would only enhance his marketability as well. I know the Lakers won in 2020 (bubble title) but tbh that organization with Jeanie has not been run well since Kobe. Lebron sort of saved them for a bit. AD isn't a #1, he's not gonna lead that team after Lebron leaves/retires either.

Does Lebron care about winning another title at this point in his career? I think he's just fine being in LA on a meh team, catching Bronny's USC games, and schmoozing with Hollywood.

How many title teams that he was on was LeBron the best player?
I feel like I'm missing a punchline here but... all of them?

In the Bubble, it was Davis and at least one of the Heat ones it was Wade.

Well, Grant didn’t last long in Dallas.

I'd be happy with Young, Gallinari or Wright as a buyout option.

Idk if the Spurs buy out Osman but he could be an option too.

I can give you Davis but I can't agree on Miami.

Does Robin have anything left?

"The Milwaukee Bucks are trading Robin Lopez to the Sacramento Kings, sources tell ESPN. Lopez is expected to be waived and become a free agent."

No.  That’s why he was dumped despite his twin being on the team.

Very surprised that Brogdon didn’t get moved. He’s averaging 16/4/5 and shooting 41% from deep. The Blazers are reportedly saying that the offers were not good enough. I doubt they will be better next season when he is a year older and will be an expiring contract.

Hield got 3 seconds (2024, 2029, 2029) and had to take back contracts.  Would you expect Brogdon to get more?  Less? about the same?  I would have them about the same.  POR probably has a lot of second round picks already.  Still, they probably should have traded him, if there were comparable offers to this.

I've got to think that he stays with the Clips.

Hope so.  Come offseason, the Sixers are sitting pretty if they can get their act together.
