Doc rivers 1-5 with milwaukee?

I understand they are injured. but still. Looks like they are stuck with him too giving him that huge dumb contract. paying 3 coaches now.

their schedule doesn't get much easier either rest of the way.

Too early to make a fair assessment...remember the Clippers were trash the first 6 games with Harden and look at them now. I don't think Doc is the answer for them but to judge him on 6 games is probably premature.

I think it’s less about Doc/coaching and more them playing in the more difficult part of their schedule. Their margin for error is no longer existent, because they’re playing actual tough teams and not primarily bottom-feeders and middling teams anymore.
Safe to presume that it's six in one hand, half-a-dozen in the other if Doc plans to meaningfully change how Milwaukee has been playing (I haven't watched them closely enough to know if this is the case).

AD outplaying Jokic tonight. 32 points. Austin Reeves with a double-double...guy is legit. They look like they're getting it together after beating us lol. Got their confidence back and all

Nuggets ran away with the win and spoiled their three Kobe-statues night celebration.

You really think this team is going to turn it around 53 games in when their biggest roster change was losing Vanderbilt for an extended time and possibly the season? They have had basically perfect health from Davis and Lebron too and a very nice shooting stretch from Russell but are still a .500 team anyway you slice it. Maybe they get a buyout guy like dinwiddie that really helps, but their biggest problem is the starting defensive backcourt of Reaves and Russell and how poor a matchup they are for the west guards like Murray, SGA and Booker. Losing Vanderbilt is not going to help that either (even though I think he is a guy that is wildly overrated).

I love the Nuggets. Even besides Jokic, they have a well-constructed roster, great coaching, and more importantly they are a smart team and can make smart in-game adjustments.

Even yesterday, most teams might have panicked when the Lakers tied it 104-104, but instead the Nuggets weren't fazed at all and immediately went on a 10-0 run in just 90 seconds on the road to silence the crowd and end that threat. Just clutch shots and great defense in that run. And they don't rely on the 3 that much either, they can find other ways to score

I know there are other elite teams like OKC, MIN and the Clippers, but it's still hard for me to see who can beat Denver in a 7-game series. If I had to guess, the Clippers and Celtics (both fully healthy) are probably the two most likely of the entire league.

Hiring doc the way they did had to be one of the all time dumbest things I’ve ever seen and if they don’t flip a switch here soon they’ve all but assured Giannis will be leaving when he gets a chance
I think Giannis has a lot to say In Milwaukee and it’s backfiring on him

He is prohibited from signing with the Celtics, or other teams with a similar tax situation.

Appearently Dinwiddie was at the Mavs Knicks game last night. Some Mavs fans wondering if it is a sign he is set to rejoin their team.

He would be a nice get for them I think.

Luka Doncic is averaging 34.6ppg.

I hadn't realized he was in the mid 30s. I figured around 30. 34.6ppg in 37.6mpg. He is adding in 8.8rpg and 9.5apg for good measure. That is an incredible stat line.

Philly again down big at home against Atlanta with no Maxey tonight.

If they lose tonight, they'll be two losses behind New York in 4th and only three losses above the Pacers, Heat, and Magic. I think if you're Philly you have to be really worried about the possibility of falling into the play-in in Embiid's absence.

I think Milwaukee is in danger of falling into that 4/5 matchup, too.

Watch that happen - Philly falling to 8th with Embiid coming back and Milwaukee falling to 4th, meaning we'd likely have to face both of them before even getting to the ECF haha Just our luck.

Washington is using Advija at center. KP should capitalize on that match up.

Watch Embiid put up 40/20 on us each game in the first round of that 1v8 matchup.

And watch Milwaukee figuring out how to play defense again and start keeping the C's to under 100 or something.

If there's one player to not count out, it's LeBron James. Can't count him out and AD being relatively healthy since 2020, gotta think they can turn it around. And yup, they can still add Dinwiddie. Reeves has been playing decently well for them. I think they'll win their play-in and make the playoffs. I like their chances if they draw OKC in the first-round.
