Why do they run a dolphins/chiefs type offense with a terrible roster? They will abandon the run and pass it 8 times in a row like we have tua and company over here LOL
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Yeah...  Pats need to land a QB.  I think whoever ends up #3 -- Pats or Redskins -- should trade up to #1.

They definitely can't run it back with Zappe. I'm not a big fan of Caleb or Drake as sure fire hits. I feel like they both have weaknesses and have a chance of being average QBs. I'd trade up if I liked either of these guys more. I'm also not a huge Penix or Daniels guy. I'll take Minshew/Brissett for a year, then find a better QB next year with the next top 10 pick.

I think the Pats need to hit with their picks over everything else. I'd make three trades with their top 10 pick. If they land #4, I could see them trading back to 20 (or so) and pick up 4 extra top 100 picks, in addition to more picks in 2025. Keep doing this and they could legitimately draft 10 players in the top 100 this year and next.

Draft 2-3 offensive and defensive linemen, and target talented receivers early. There's depth at OT and WR this year.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

So are you good with the Bears keeping Fields?
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Hope they lose, but have to say despite all that's happened it's insane it's only a 6-point game right now. Defense is nails, Alex Austin looks like a find, and the offense has had some good drives this quarter. Another one right now.

Josh Allen and the Bills meanwhile look very off still. I still hope they can go into Arrowhead and beat KC if they are a wild card team (or if they win the AFC East, beat KC in the divisional round)

I am.  I'm a big fan, and thinks he's shown consistent improvement.  I do think that Getsy is too conservative of an OC.  Fields needs more deep balls.

I think he can be in the same range as Lamar and Hurts.  I'd be fine trading down to #3, hopefully picking up Harrison and if not trading back again, and building through the draft.  They've got a ton of money in free agency, too.

I've seen some mock drafts which actually have NE trading from #3 to #1 with Chicago.

NE gives up #3, #66, 2025 2nd + 2025 4th

I do also wonder what the Cardinals do. I think they trade Murray + take QB but who knows, maybe they like Murray and want to do a similar plan of getting either MHJ or trading down + taking a tackle.

That would be a home run for Chicago, especially if Fields ends up being better than Caleb Williams. In a way, that would remind me of the Fultz-Tatum trade.

I expect that Caleb Williams will have to run a lot wherever he goes, but boy, I don't envy him getting smushed into the ground in Chicago or NE during the winter.

Eagles are barely holding on against the Cardinals. Hope the Cardinals can pull through

Lol Ryland misses another FG, then a delay of game gets called, and they decide to punt it.

This is a guy that would have been cut a month ago but the operation is dysfunctional anyways, the team is 4-11 and they don't have many replacements at the moment.

So Zappe throws 3 picks (including a pick 6) and he doesn’t get benched?  ???

I don't think there is any way you get the #1 pick without at least 2 1st rounders.  Even if the one is #3.

I think that's right.  No way Chicago does it for a third rounder and future non-#1s.  There's going to be a team willing to give up what the Panthers did last year (D.J. Moore, #9, a 2nd, this year's first rounder, and next year's 2nd).  Rumor has it that the Bears could have had another #1, but preferred Moore instead.

My opinion is that the Bears should stay in the top-3 to secure Harrison, a potential All-Pro.  But, there are a lot of good players in the top-10 this year, and there's a good chance that they get blown away by another team.  I think a "fair" price for the Pats to move up to #1 is #3, #36, and a future #1.
