Harden trade talks done. so now he is holding out and wont report to camp...
this could get messy
If I'm the 76ers I don't really care. If he shows up fine. They need to go on like business as usual and then file a complaint at the end of the year to expell him.
Agreed. The Sixers need to focus on developing Maxey. Next offseason they'll have Harden's and Harris' big contracts off the books.
I think Morey made one great trade for harden and was ahead of the curve on small ball and the value of threes. He hasn’t really had success since then and I don’t think he is anything special. He also seems to now be almost obsessed with harden the last few years and is turning into a jilted lover. Good for the Celtics tho
Harden just called Morey a liar and said he’d never play for an organization with him again. Said it twice. Yikes.
Harden just found out that Morey is a 100% transactional guy. He thought he was going to get done a solid because of his relationship with Morey from a Houston but no.
Harden took a discount on his last extension to try and create more space to sign more players, on the (verbal) agreement that Harden would get paid his next contract. But now Harden isn’t worth a max so Morey won’t pay him. So Harden wants out but Morey won’t trade him for pennies on the dollar, he will trade him for another max player. He will make Harden show up and fine him like they did Simmons if he doesn’t, which he is entitled to do under the CBA.
It’s all going to end in tears for someone and I suspect it won’t be Morey in tears at the end of it …Sixers fans might be though
