Exclusive: According to my information there are growing concerns that Latvia star Kristaps #Porzingis might miss the #FIBAWC due to injury. Understood it is something with his foot. Staff, himself and Boston #Celtics will wait until the last moment to make a decision.

Don’t know who this guy is or if he’s legit, but figured I’d share.

Hopefully if there is something that it’s just something small and the C’s are putting pressure on to avoid him risking any further injury.

Understood it's at least nothing too serious because they are still discussing the option of him playing the World Cup.

This team be snake bitten with injuries

While I agree, don't panic too much about what some rando posts on "X".

I heard this on the radio also.  They reported it on Felger and Mazz.  It probably isn't anything too serious now, but after what happened to Gallinari last year, I hope he doesn't play.  I know that is a big deal for Latvia but he just signed a 3 year deal with the Celtics, well actually, an option year and an extension, but basically a 3 year contract.  I don't think he wants to miss a season anymore than the Celtics want him to miss one.  Just play it safe please.

Woj: Free agent C Udoka Azubuike has agreed on a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns.

also

Jabari Parker signs with Barcelona.

I thought he could be a serviceable big for us, but his Summer League performance certainly proved otherwise.

I had some hope too but after seeing him in the summer league, he did not appear to be much if any better than Kabengele.  To me, he has an NBA body and NBA athleticism, but the skills or court awareness were just not there.  He is only 23 (Kabengele is already 25) so he does still have some time to figure it out, but not the project I want the Celtics to undertake.  He may turn out to have some use to PHX in emergency situations, but I don't expect him to be anywhere near the court when it matters.  I guess he is a good practice body (practice? are we talking about practice?  not a game, practice?).

Izskanējusi informācija, kas apšauba Kristapa Porziņģa piedalīšanos FIBA Pasaules kausa izcīņā. LBS šo informāciju noliedz.

Norit gan spēlētāju individuālie sagatavošanās plāni, gan komandas kopējais treniņu process. Sastāvs spēlei ar Dominikānu tiks paziņots 12. augustā.

OK, in English:

There has been information that questions the participation of Kristaps Porzingis in the FIBA World Cup. LBS denies this information. Both the players’ individual preparation plans and the team’s overall training process are ongoing. The line-up for the match against the Dominican Republic will be announced on August 12. – via Twitter

Even in English, I am not sure what it means.  They are denying the report but not really saying if Porzingis will play.  Could be something lost in the translation.

If I'm the 76ers I don't really care. If he shows up fine. They need to go on like business as usual and then file a complaint at the end of the year to expell him.

On the other hand,

James Harden's agent, Troy Payne, says James and his team's goal is to enter the season in the "best shape of his career" and that he wouldn't be surprised if James' name came up in MVP discussions this upcoming season.

The disrespect has been noted.👀🔥

Agreed.  The Sixers need to focus on developing Maxey.  Next offseason they'll have Harden's and Harris' big contracts off the books.

I think Morey made one great trade for harden and was ahead of the curve on small ball and the value of threes. He hasn’t really had success since then and I don’t think he is anything special. He also seems to now be almost obsessed with harden the last few years and is turning into a jilted lover. Good for the Celtics tho

Harden just called Morey a liar and said he’d never play for an organization with him again. Said it twice. Yikes.

Harden just found out that Morey is a 100% transactional guy. He thought he was going to get done a solid because of his relationship with Morey from a Houston but no.

Harden took a discount on his last extension to try and create more space to sign more players, on the (verbal) agreement that Harden would get paid his next contract. But now Harden isn’t worth a max so Morey won’t pay him. So Harden wants out but Morey won’t trade him for pennies on the dollar, he will trade him for another max player. He will make Harden show up and fine him like they did Simmons if he doesn’t, which he is entitled to do under the CBA.

It’s all going to end in tears for someone and I suspect it won’t be Morey in tears at the end of it …Sixers fans might be though

The difference between Harden and Simmons is if Harden has any receipts that Morey made him a promise, the NBA will come down hard on Morey.  There was a lot of talk about a future deal made last summer, and the NBA investigated and found nothing.  If there was actually something, Morey might find himself with a lengthy suspension of his own.
