I'd like to add him for sure if he is, but he just seems like one of those players that will end up in Miami.

The Clippers re-engaged the Celtics about acquiring Malcolm Brogdon in recent days, according to @JakeLFischer.

Odd behavior from a team that nixed the initial Porzingis trade due to a “poor medical evaluation” of Brogdon.

Are the Clippers drunk?

There’s a possibility of Brogdon getting involved in a Harden to LAC move. I could see Philly being interested in him, though unclear what we’d be getting.

I thought they would reengage us. It depends on their other roster moves. I kinda' figured they'd just resign Westbrook to get another guard in place.

Is this part of a bigger deal they are working (George)? Or is this about them shedding some salary while getting a solid player in return in a 2 or 3 for 1 (Powell, Morris, Batum, Covington)?

Can we get Terrace Mann, Covington, and Hyland for Brogdon and Pritchard?

No, I don’t think Terrance Mann gets moved for anyone short of Harden or Lillard.

The PG market is quite weak this year, at least for the TMLE.  Why do so many fans want us to trade a very good player in Brogdon?

That said, throwing this out there...

Clippers get:  Brogdon

Celtics get:  Batum, Monte Morris

Wizards get:  Covington, #2 from LAC

I get Brad trying to deal him for Porzingis, but we shouldn't move him just for the sake of moving him.

To me, the most logical Harden trade would be:

Harden to Clippers
Dame to Blazers
Maxey, expiring contracts and picks (from Phila and Clips) to Blazers

Doubt Morey would accept anything less than someone as good as Lillard, and can't imagine Portland would agree just to picks and filler to trade him. Maxey would be a good get.

Embiid and Lillard would be formidable. And frankly wouldn't miss Maxey that much.

Something like that makes a lot of sense. Gives us a really high-level frontcourt and depth.

Ugh, no.  We don’t need a fourth player who’s best position is center, nor a bench PG with attitude problems.  Covington is nice, but he’s not as good as Brogdon, and the other two add little if anything.
