Marcus Morris Sr. reportedly unhappy with his role in LAC. I wonder if he could be a target if we’re dead set on trading one of the Smart, White, Brogdon trio, especially if we lose out on GWill? Would make some sense for both sides, though not sure I’d trade one of the guards straight up for him.

Loved Morris when he was part of the IT C’s teams, and think he’d bring some needed toughness and leadership to the group.

Yeah idk. Morris seemed to get irritated with his role in 2019 like Rozier when he saw limited playing time, and seemed to be one of those "egos" in the locker room alongside Rozier and Kyrie.

I liked him during the IT era, but I just don't see it working this time around.

Why would he be happy with his role here then?

I have no interest in a non-passing whiner with serious delusions of grandeur. He is also about to turn 34.

Would rather play Hauser

Morris wasn’t part of IT’s teams.  We traded Bradley for him to clear a little salary to sign Hayward, and then traded IT a month later.

This just made me miss Amir Johnson

How much do you guys think Draymond Green is going to get now that he opted out? I'm sure he's asking for 25-30 million/year, but I can see him getting a cold shower like Dennis Schroeder if he holds out for too much at his age.

Doh! TP. Mixed up two of my more enjoyable Celtics teams - the 2017 IT team and 2018 Kyrie/Hayward-less Hospital Celtics team.

No interest in Marcus Morris. I hated watching that guy. Black hole on offense. Strong man defender but mediocre team defender. Went iso far too often. Ugly to watch. Selfish. Bad character in the locker room. Disease of me.

Clippers fans have been sick of his act as well. Often furious for Ty Lue continuing to play Morris when other guys are outplaying him. His defense has declined. Frequent concerns about him causing trouble in the locker room over role, minutes, shot attempts, starting or not starting. A problem that needs to be navigated. And not worth the hassle.

Not a team guy. Never has been. He says the right words in the media but his actions on the court have always been me-first.

I'd like to see G Will on the Pacers. That would be a good fit for him. They can draft a young forward to play alongside him. Let G Will start to begin with and move back into a 6th man role when the young gun is ready. Indy badly need some help at forward.

I am not sure how good of a fit G Will would be in Dallas. They need a defender but what they really need is a quick footed athletic defender who can cover a wide area on defense. That isn't G Will. He is a slow footed team defender who does his best work one-on-one. G Will and Luka Doncic together would probably be the slowest forward combination in the league and that would create serious defensive flaws.

G Will would be solid in Orlando. J Isaac doesn't seem to be coming back so they have a hole there behind F Wagner and Banchero. G Will gives them a 3rd physical big forward. Nice forward rotation. That looks better than Dallas to me.

Dallas is the one he should avoid.

So apparently adult film stars are trying to black mail the league into trading Zion out of New Orleans.  What a mess.  The Pels need to do it while they can still get any kind of value for him.

I also don’t know how threatening to do all this is supposed to hurt Zion when he presumably doesn’t even want to be in NO.

Considering the hype, this guys gonna end up being one of the biggest busts of all time.

That would be called revenge p*rn and it would not end well for Moriah Mills. She does not want to go up against NBA attorneys and the league when it comes to blackmailing. She'll lose this 10 out of 10 times. Hopefully Pelicans don't cave in to her request.

Tho from a basketball standpoint, Zion might just be another Ben Simmons lite. Wouldn't call him the worst bust of all time tho (Greg Oden, Anthony Bennett, Ben Simmons etc). Might just need a change in scenery and someone who can keep him in shape perhaps.

Don’t get the Suns/Beal move. Seems like a really awkward fit, and they’re now even more significantly top heavy than before with a lot of overlapping skill sets. It also adds another injury prone guy to the mix. Thinks this backfires for them.

I hope it does.  Can’t stand Booker and I used to love KD when he was with Seattle but he’s become a self-absorbed crybaby.  Only thing I like about that team is the coach.

Rumor is we’re talking with Atlanta about trades - though it’s KOC, so grain of salt.

Not sure there is a bigger deal for one of the pricier players. A Brogdon for Collins swap makes some sense if we don’t resign GWill. He gives us a long-term starting 4 and allows us to play Horford off the bench, which is what he needs. But that adds some salary for the year JB’s extension kicks in, which I’m not sure we’re looking to do.

For a smaller trade, PP for Bey would be pretty sweet for us. Gives us the backup 3 and D wing we need and seemingly fits well in our style. I could see the Hawks maybe wanting to do this if they prefer keeping Johnson over Bey at the SF position with his extra year of rookie money, especially having Hunter, too. Especially with PP likely bring cheaper to resign if they go that route.

I’d love to get Jalen Johnson. Pritchard plus 35 get it done? Probably not enough.
