Starting 5 is an improvement over last season.
Bench has two legit players if they can stay healthy in brogden and Rob/Al.
Everyone on the bench really can’t be considered guys that can be counted on at this point.
Seen flashes from Hauser and PP but they haven’t proven they are night in and out rotation players. Same with Brissett
Yeah, Brad can't possibly be done. This bench is only two deep, and both of those two are injury prone players. I hope they are not relying on legit contributions from Wash, Brissett or Banton this season. Hauser and Pritchard are ok but limited. We know what they are at this point.
If Brad stands pat(ish) - no major trade - and just looks to add depth, he just needs to move PP/Hauser down to 10/11 in the rotation instead of 8/9. This is what we're all talking about here, adding a couple of later rotation players to strengthen the bench. Meanwhile about 26 other teams are trying to figure out how they can strengthen their top 7. But if the master plan includes moving MB or JB, that shoe's got to drop first at this point because the dust will settle differently once that happens.
btw -- I think Pritchard is going to be a valuable backup PG/ 8th guy on a good team. He's talented, smart, high energy, really good shooter. When he gets regular minutes and the confidence that comes from that, he's going to be a very nice player to have.
