  • GOT IT!!!
Bench consists of a

Brogdan and Pp
Hauser
Brissett
Kornet
Al or Rob
Walsh

I don’t count Banton because he’s not a real player

That’s an awful bench. Just terrible.

It really isn't. There are two players that would be starting for many other teams, a young player in a contract year that has shown quite a bit, and a shooting specialist.

I think its likely we still will try to get one or two more guys, but we aren't doing bad. This isn't the 2020 Celtics.

Brogdan—always hurt
PP—no idea if he can be a legit player
Hauser—not trusted by the coach
Brissett—g league talent
Rob—always hurt
Banton—not a nba player
Kornet—a waste of space

This bench is awful

Going to run Tatum and brown into the ground. No scoring at all on the bench

There’s no way the C’s roll into next season with such little moves. These picks are getting traded for something!

If this is all that is going to be done Brad gets a big fat F this offseason.

Wasting a first round pick to accumulate second round picks and a guy that will be in Maine most of the season.

My guess is they think Walsh can do the things grant does. But we all know he won’t get any PT

especially with 2nd row Joe he is gonna run the Jays, Horford, Porzingis, Brodgan, and Timelord into the ground, need at least a couple of guys to handle serious minutes during the season.

Maybe sign Blake Griffin back. He can play 15minutes a night.

Gary Washburn just said the team is actively looking to move brogdan.
Must be about the luxury tax.

So we should generate something like a $6.5m trade exception for this, correct?

If so, who’s out there in that range that we can use that on? And can’t you now use tpes for free agents, too, in the new cba?

Sources: The Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics are finalizing a three-team trade:

- Mavs: Grant Williams
- Spurs: Reggie Bullock and an unprotected Dallas pick swap in 2030
- Celtics: Multiple second-round picks

So all Boston gets back are more second round picks. What a disaster

Ah crap. Bad news for Boston. We needed him for our depth. Not much opportunities out there to replace Grant.

Spurs do not need R Bullock. They already have Keldon Johnson and Cedi Osman at SF. Maybe we should be going after one of those backup SFs.

The Mavericks are acquiring Celtics restricted free agent Grant Williams on a four-year, $54 million deal via sign-and-trade, per sources. WME Sports’ Bill Duffy and Erik Kabe completed the new contract for Williams.
$13.5 million per. Should have matched that. That is a tradeable contract. Keep him for a year and trade him next summer.

The Celtics are stacking up second round picks. Gives them a ton of ammo for mid-season deals and moving within future drafts.

it is July 5th, let's wait and see, but the bench stinks.

The use TPE to sign guys provision doesn't kick in until next year.

Now it’s back down to two second rounders we get, per Woj.
