Good.  Now sign Giles for the 3rd spot.

Brad signing a literal Scrubb is the most on the nose signing ever.

You beat me too it.  I guess he earned it.  I too am hoping for Giles.

He did stand out in a sea of predominantly non-NBA players.

I would be happy if Giles got the third 2 way deal. It’s surprising why no NBA team has offered him a 2 way deal yet. Maybe he’s holding out for a training camp invite to try and make it to a regular line up.

And for what it’s worth, Boston wasn’t mentioned as one of the teams that attended Giles’ workout.

Giles has earned about $8M already.  A 4-year vet min contract is about $1.8M.  I think the 2-way deals are around $500k.  The difference is a fair amount of money to normal people but my suggestion to him would be to get the best situation, and that is probably the Celtics.

I don't think the Celtics would use the 15th roster spot on him, they are going to keep that open for flexibility.  They could cut Champagnie.  Scrubb is probably a replacement for him anyway.

Longtime NBA guard Austin Rivers is still seeking a home and the Celtics are among those that have shown interest in him, The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn reported.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Might be worth a shot and have him as a backup

LeBron changing his number from 6 back to 23 to respect Bill.

I wouldn't mind him wearing 6. 23 such a weird number when they already got 24 being their iconic figure. And not because of Jordan. Jordan may be a great basketball player, but trash as an owner.  8)

So are there two open roster spots if they cut Chamagnie?

Sign older vets like Blake Griffin and Austin Rivers.

Or sign younger guys with some experience like Terrance Davis and Trendon Watford.

Or sign Tatum friends like Giles and Javonte Green.

I've got no interest in Rivers.  He doesn't produce, and he's not a positive in the locker room.

And they may not be looking for a veteran emergency PG.  Not a ton of options. John Wall, George Hill, Goran Dragic, Kemba.

I like Jay Scrubb. He earned that 2-way spot. Him and Walsh were the 2 best Celtics in summer league. Scrubb showed legit NBA level scoring skills.
