Hey Joe, that's how you beat the Miami Heat. Take more 2's and stop taking so many 3's, and play hard defense.

Such a simple adjustment but can't even change it up SMH

Do you seriously believe that Wyc and Brad would allow Joe continue to use that strategy if it wasn’t something that they wanted to do? Seems like people believe that Joe is running the whole operation and that Wyc and Brad aren’t in charge. Smh.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It's easy to play better offence when you have the best offensive big man arguably ever

Yeah if the key to beating Miami is just "have Jokic" then 28 teams in the league are going to have a hard time.

On the fire joe topic - how are our less-than-enthused about Mazza posters feeling about the new coaching staff?

As one of the less-than-enthused, I am quite thrilled. Have been banging the Charles Lee drum for a couple of years now, and Cassell seems to be a great locker-room presence. I would ideally like to see another hire (to offset the losses of Hardy & Stoudemire + promotion of Mazz), but these two are great initial steps.

I read an interesting thought today. Does Joe maybe go WV as HC since Huggins just resigned?

I doubt he would go after one year in the NBA.

We can only hope.

I could see Joe reading the room and seeing the Cassel hire as a prelude to being pushed out the door, but I don't think he'd move the needle at WVU.  Can't see him being a serious candidate.
