Jamal Murray is the key to elevating DEN from above average team to title contender.

Minnesota got a nice amount of length and quickness 2-4 next to one of their two twin towers. Active defensively.

The Clippers won a game on the road in which Westbrook was 3 of 19 from the field.  Suns may be in trouble.

George was out too and they lost

The Suns may have a real big 3 (KD, Book, CP3) but Ayton is a problem. Hell, Westbrook outhustled him in the final few minutes and Ayton couldn’t grab a defensive rebound when they needed it most

Not sure its a big 3 with the current version of CP3. He had 7pts tonight. Scoring has been dropping every year for the past 3 seasons.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Great pass by Towns to Edwards baseline for the layup.

Westbrook and Gordon were huge post deadline pick ups by the Clippers. They’re just really deep now.

For what it’s worth, Gordon was acquired via trade, not post-deadline.

Thanks for clarifying. For a while i thought he was bought out. Now i remember that trade with John Wall. TP sir.

If Gobert is going to defend A Gordon like this playing 7-10 feet off him and plugging the lane, I'd like to see DEN drop A Gordon to the bench and play smaller.

Play MPJ at the PF and Bruce Brown at SF next to Caldwell Pope and J Murray in the backcourt. Nobody for Gobert to hide on in that lineup.

What team was it that did that very thing to him several postseasons ago and essentially played him out of the rotation? Was it the Clippers?

Yeah, Marcus Morris. Stuck Gobert in the corner and played 4 on 4 on the rest of the court.

After three thrilling games today, the Denver Nuggets...blowout. As expected of a 1 vs 8 matchup. The Wolves looked cooked

I know it’s just one game but I pick Clippers to beat the Suns in first round..I just don’t get the Suns hype..Paul & Durant are lot older & injury prone plus Suns has no bench
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

TP :)

Different series: Would be a wonderful postseason if KD and CP3 go out in the first round to the terminally under-performing Clippers (edit: and Westbrook!)

I do wonder if KD being hurt might have affected the rhythm and chemistry Phoenix has. Durant obviously missed a good chunk of time with the ankle injury, and has only played about 10 games with Phoenix since. They can still figure it out soon, but they have to do it fast otherwise the Clips will take this series.

It kind of reminds me of last year's Nets. Now obviously there's no Kyrie and his shenanigans, but that team had all the talent and hype, but fizzled out first round and it became kind of clear something was off, but also Kyrie missed a significant amount of time due to "personal reasons" and being unvaccinated, and they didn't seem to gel together late in the season despite being talented players. CP3 is older, and not as talented now. Ayton also to me is overrated.

We'll see. But also, Phoenix's bench is pretty thin. They are relying a ton on Booker and KD to score a bunch each game
