But feel bad for JB. He’ll be an All Star for sure, but he should be in there over Kyrie. They have pretty much the same counting stats, but JB is a two way player and is on the better team. Fans have too much say so in it.

Jaylen's been so lackluster in his marketing, though. The deal with Donda Sports was supposed to be a boost to his popularity but that backfired. He has no major endorsement deals that I'm aware of. He doesn't even have an official sneaker contract this season.

Fan vote is too heavily skewed for the starters, I think.

There's no reason that the 4th place East team should have two starters over the 1st place team in the East when the second candidate has a slightly better case, let alone the 2nd place team not having anyone while having an MVP candidate in Embiid.

The All-Star game is a fan event, though. It's a money grab for the league and the fans pay up a pretty penny especially for tickets. I don't mind that fans get 50% of the vote for some of the players in a game that has no real meaning or weight otherwise.
