Bill Russell was the reason my dad became a die hard Celtics fan- and by extension, why I’m a die hard to this day. His impact on and off the court will never be forgotten. Let’s get #18 for Bill this season. RIP legend, this is a sad day.

Really sucks, this makes the Finals loss that much worse. It would’ve been nice for Bill to go out as the Celtics champions.
