I mean I wouldn’t be completely shocked if he was traded, but kind of mounting evidence the lakers will start season with Westbrook. Ham is talking about his role and playing him with Beverly. Jeanie buss is doing media calling them their most consistent player. Lebron James is tweeting out support for him and he is working out with their young players. Would be a weird thing to do if they were not thinking he would most likely be there.

Yeah, he's not the best defender and he's got some attitude problems, but he's a steal at whatever they're paying him.  (Update:  two-year vet minimum with a player option).

At least we've got Kornet.

Maybe he will regain his form under doc but there is a reason this is his 6th team in 8 years. Certainly didn’t seem to help the wizards or hornets last year, two teams with less talent than the 76ers.

Still hoping we get a guy like cousins or Howard who would help us more than Harrell.

ESPN Sources: Free agent C Montrezl Harrell is signing two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, including a player option. Harrell brings more toughness to a team searching for it this offseason. He was Sixth Man of the Year with Doc Rivers/Sam Cassell in 2019-2020 w/ Clippers.

Harrell had charges of marijuana trafficking reduced to a misdemeanor possession in a Madison County (KY) Courthouse recently. Charge will be expunged from his record after 12 months if Harrell gets in no further legal trouble.

Somebody said on Twitter 76ers only have two rotation players taller than 6’7 (Reed and Embid). Little surprised they are using Harrell when they experienced better success using guys like drumming and Howard (jordan was obviously a disaster).

And Paul Reed is a fairly skinny big man.

Seems likely Charles Bassey will be cut at the end of camp.  Could be an interesting developmental big for the end of the roster.  (I know, people want to fill the other spots more.)

Good signing by Sixers. Dang. Wonder if we were kicking tires.  How much $$ is he getting?

Would take that punt for sure

I would too, and doc is extremely notorious for favoring vets over young players. I think Reed may already be better than Harrell, 76ers fans very worried doc will bury Reed now.
