Cavs going to be really good as they kept their core i.e. Garland, Mobley, and Allen.  They gave up Sexton, Markkanen, Agbaji, and the draft picks.

Starters - Garland, Mitchell, LeVert, Mobley, Allen
Main Rotation - Rubio/Neto, Okoro, Osman, Wade, Love, Lopez

I like that roster a lot

I guess the big question is how far does that bump them up in the East now?

I don't think they are as good as Milwaukee or Boston, but could see them on par with Miami, Philly, and Brooklyn (if that actually works).  And given their age, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them be healthier and thus have the best record in the conference, even if they aren't as good as some of the other teams.  I'd be very surprised if they don't make the top 6 though.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Yabu drilling threes all over the court for France against Germany. Leading scorer in the game that has 5-7 nba players in it.

Yabu has looked really good in international play.

We brought him to the NBA too early it appears.   Good for Brad to wait on bringing Begarin to Boston.

Funnily enough Fournier has looked awful basically shot France out of game.

Report out today the Pacers wanted to do a Turner, Hield, and Theis for Westbrook, THT, 27 and 29, but the Lakers didn't want to do that and moved to the Beverley trade.  Still seems like a deal can be made between those teams.

That would be a great trade for LA. Myles Turner and AD would be fantastic together. Their defensive versatility and offensive versatility would be superb in enabling everyone around them. Hield would give their offense a major boost.

Hield and M.Turner would give Bron & AD enough help to get LA back into title contention. Might be a bit of a struggle this year because the depth is so weak but next year they should be in business again.

I'd love to see M.Turner end up there.

Is Goga Bitadze going to be an unrestricted free agent? If so I'd be intested.
He was a first round pick, so he'll be restricted.

So where does Mitchell end up now with Barrett basically being out of the mix after the Knicks extended him?

Still wouldn't mind him in Boston

Boston - Mitchell, Gay, Wade
Cleveland - Smart
Utah - Sexton, White, 25 1st, 27 1st, 29 1st

Who says no to that?

Boston post-trade

Starters - Brogdon, Mitchell, Brown, Tatum, Rob
Main Rotation - Pritchard, Grant, Gay, Gallinari, Horford
Deeper Bench - Wade, Vonleh, Hauser, Kornet, Ryan
2W - Davison, Kabengele
So apparently I could have just cut Boston out of this and Utah ended up with a pretty similar package to what I had suggested.  They got the extra young player and the 2 pick swaps, though White is better than and has more value than Markkanen and they dumped off Gay, so it probably ended up as a comparable package.  The years on the 1st's are even the same.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

There are reports from a few days ago saying that the Lakers are interested, but nothing stating that a trade is imminent. Not sure why he made that post.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

My bad...found a "breaking news" on my Twitter from Real NBA Quotez stating sources telling Shams that Conley was traded to LAL. But couldn't find anywhere else of confirmed sources. Looks like it hasn't happened or not yet anyways.

I mean there is a trade there that makes sense for Utah and LA, but I think LA is holding out trying to get Turner and Hield, but something like

Westbrook and a 1st

for

Conley, Bogdanovic, Clarkson

That makes some level of sense for both teams.  The Jazz would then just buy Westbrook out.  Lakers would take on a tone of salary though.
