I cant remember the last time I was as pi$$ed about a loss as tonight

So frustrating

Worst loss of my lifetime watching the C's

2010 Game 7?
2012 Game 7?
2018 Game 7?

2010 game 7.  I was at game 5 and thought it was a wrap.  So close

Amazing. Brown literally fouls Smart like he thinks he’s a Buck on the game clinching play — and y’all are talking about Grant Williams.

Its unfortunate...but i think its 2 guys on same team going for a rebound...but i gotta watch it 23 more times to make sure

Yeah, don't think you can blame either of them there. That's just an unfortunate accident of two guys going for the ball.

Actually, rewatching it, it may actually be JB's fault. Not necessarily for hitting Smart, but he left the box out of Portis to grab the ball, leading to Portis getting it. Portis slipped high and JB was the guy in front of him boxing him out at first before going for the ball. Dumb. Not sure how much you can really blame him there, but it was certainly the man from his side and his responsibility that led to the basket.

Looked like it was part of the hero plays Smart was trying to make at the end of the game. Just a series of brain farts. I would've rather of seen Tatum jacking up threes than whatever it was Smart was doing.

As good as he is Smart loses his composure sometimes in big moments and forgets his role. Contrast that last play with the one he made in game 1 against Brooklyn.

This time he collapsed the d but didn't have the patience yo move the ball for a likely open shot

We had game 7 in 2010 too.  Just ran out of gas.  This was just straight dumb play.  Awful coaching and execution

Maybe he can call out his teammates and then play better like he did earlier this year.

The next 48 hours feels like a very slow and painful death up until the actual demise Friday night…  :(

Such dumb basketball. I cannot believe we lost that game. The terrible boxing out on a Giannis free throw is just mind boggling. Ime so stuck on that 1 big lineup and it ended up doing them in

BwaaaaHaaahaaaaaa!!!!

Oh man....thats a take! Guess you didn't watch the rest of the seasom????

Sorry, But yeah at that moment...shoulda put in rebounding

Ime got that from Gregg Popovich. Remember Spurs were up 3-2 in 2012-2013, then they didn't sub Duncan in. Allowed Bosh to get the offensive rebound and back out to Allen for the series-altering 3.

i remember that. kawhi missed FTs also that woulda iced it. thakfully spurs beat them next year

Second chance points did us in all game.

Holiday just made a great play, Smart got to the rack and beat his defender, just didn’t see the help coming.

Oh well, backs to the wall, should be interesting Friday, to say the least.

We'll see what they are made of on Friday. Great teams have to be able to bounce back from adversity. This was a tough loss but give credit to Milwaukee, they never gave up.

Marcus Smart on the block by Jrue Holiday: "Nah. I didn't see him. The play was actually that JT was supposed to come up and get it and everybody was standing around and we had no timeouts and the five second count was underway. And Jrue made a great play."

So the play was for Tatum and they were running out of time to inbound with no timeouts left.

you have to close out games at home and when you were up like that. we play smart driving and running then we stop and blow it. our BBIQ is rock bottom at times

Still ticks me off. Literally all we have to do is grab the rebound and even then worst case scenario is probably overtime. We likely win though.

This kind of reminds me of 2020 Game 3 vs Toronto with Toronto hitting that game winning shot in the final millisecond. That was another bad choke and was talked about a lot as well at the time but the C’s won that series in 7 games so that sort of squashed it

Throwing teammates under the bus for your horrid play. That's so Smart. Can they ask him why he only had one assist in the whole game?
