Still ticks me off. Literally all we have to do is grab the rebound and even then worst case scenario is probably overtime. We likely win though.

This kind of reminds me of 2020 Game 3 vs Toronto with Toronto hitting that game winning shot in the final millisecond. That was another bad choke and was talked about a lot as well at the time but the C’s won that series in 7 games so that sort of squashed it

Yes.

And we were awful after that in the playoffs.

This time needs to be different. Gotta come together after mistakes.

Marcus Smart on the block by Jrue Holiday: "Nah. I didn't see him. The play was actually that JT was supposed to come up and get it and everybody was standing around and we had no timeouts and the five second count was underway. And Jrue made a great play."

So the play was for Tatum and they were running out of time to inbound with no timeouts left.

Throwing teammates under the bus for your horrid play. That's so Smart. Can they ask him why he only had one assist in the whole game?

He didn't throw anyone under the bus. He gave credit to the Bucks. We were stuck with time running down, they had to do something so they inbounded to the open guy and he went to the basket.

The C's thought they were the champs by dethroning the champs in the East Semis. And then only to get fizzled out by the Heat.

Bro, you've got to chill with this crap. He wasn't throwing anyone under the bus, but rewatching it he in fact is right. No idea what Al and Tatum are doing there. They don't even start moving to get Tatum open until like three seconds after White gets the ball. If they were trying to get Tatum the ball for real, then that's on Al and Tatum because they weren't doing what was needed to get the ball. Watch it here:

Jayson Tatum said he was supposed to come off a pin-down from Al Horford on the play where Marcus Smart got blocked.

"There was miscommunication, and the play broke down. Jrue Holiday made a great play at the rim."

Asked about the miscommunication, Tatum said "Yeah."

Yeah. Rewatch it. Al had a major brain fart. Wasn't paying attention on the screen timing.

Yeah, about 4 seconds go by from when the ref hands White the ball until he inbounds it to Smart, and Tatum and Al are still standing in the far corner.

I cant remember the last time I was as pi$$ed about a loss as tonight

So frustrating

Worst loss of my lifetime watching the C's

2010 Game 7?
2012 Game 7?
2018 Game 7?

Not to mention some games in the 80s and 90s

But this loss is raw right now so it probably hurts more. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Yep. Super frustrating to have happen in that situation. Potentially a championship-losing brain fart right there. At least if Tatum gets it he gets a decent shot at an iso. Can't blame Smart for that.

They were still the #2 seed that year lol

I need CPR, not a hug.  ;D

On to the Friday the 13th game!

I’d also like some comfort food lol

I made a home made peach pie last night.
Would a slice of that make you feel better?

I’m thinking more like whisky.

Seriously though at some point a team has to win back to back games in this series. Let’s hope it’s us.
