I love it, but these games are stressful as hell. Lol

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Hahah yeah. That's the thing, all these other teams are playing mediocre teams and we just had to draw Brooklyn first round. But oh well, so far it's looking good

Think Mike said we finished the game on a 69-44 run or something like that. Otherworldly turnaround

Russillo just tweeted something which I think is accurate - this team has an extra gear and when they hit it, the Nets can't touch them. The 08 team and all the Bird era title winners had that same extra level.

So did the Cowens' teams. I remember regular commentary about how that group knew just when to tighten the screws on defense in the 2nd half in order to put the opponent away. They would play at a high level the first 3 quarters and then kick up their defensive intensity in the 4th to win the game. And of course, Cowens and Silas (and Kuberski) rebounding forever.

Just always been something special about the Celtics, which is why we love them. Amazing the way this team went from unwatchable during the first half of the season to being one of the most fun to watch in a long time.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

It's pretty obvious that after Kyrie + KD, the Nets just don't have the firepower. The Nets need BOTH Kyrie + KD to put up like 30+ each to have a chance, and tonight with Kyrie putting up 13 that was a moot point. The Nets did nearly comeback and win in Game 1 with Kyrie going off (with 39) and KD also putting up 23 (not the usual KD number, but pretty good nonetheless)

C's just needed to slow the game down. Their bodies were moving faster than their brain

When we are calm and make the smart play Brooklyn can't defend us without fouling

To be fair dragic has been pretty good third weapon the first couple games. Don’t know if that will continue though.

Theis 17pts
Horford 16pts
G-Williams 18pts

Saved the day. Kept the team in it while others were struggling. And then helped finish BKN off.

And other than GWill they were the ones getting criticized in the 1st quarter. Just shows how they can adjust after a bad first quarter

They made an adjustment after halftime and stopped Dragic and Brown getting into the paint so much.

Love it. Kyrie looked frightened and confused out there. The mystic was mystified
