That 4th quarter was what we have all gotten used to as Cs fans this season. Just an incredible finish!

And to produce it after a terrible first half...we were bad in the first half but they didn't let their heads drop, they kept in touch even as the Nets tried to pull away. Ime and the team made adjustments to dealing with the zone in the 2nd half and they had the self belief to come away with the win.

I think they've proven to us now that they're a different team to when they were giving up wins after bad first quarters...they know they have a template of ball movement and unselfishness on offense, and trusting each other on defense. We've taken two great Nets shots and come back.

They need to be prepared for Brooklyn to throw everything at us in G3...they won't want to go 3-0 down. KD is overdue for a huge game, they have to keep up their strat of denying him the ball and continuing to try to force turnovers when he has it. Don't let him settle!

For you believers in this thread - the team is losing to everyone but Durant/Kyrie HAHA - our players just regular season quality

What is your problem?

You guys are quoting me first - I never had a go at you neither am I interested anyway. Not sure why you guys cannot face the facts of what is going on. Clearly we are playing horrific. Embrace it. Nets did better in game 1 too when we were the much better team and here when we are not good we are getting blown out of the building lol to not even Kyrie or Durant

Game's not over till both halves have been played, as they say

Durant not offering much respect for the C's in the press conference.  even Kyrie was more complimentary

Something has seemed off about KD lately. Idk, but like you don't get that killer instinct from him. Obviously the C's defense has been ferocious but when you hear all his press conferences, his play on the court, etc. it's almost like it's a combination of being frustrated by the C's defense but also knowing the Nets as a whole probably aren't constructed to go deep in the playoffs.

Like Kyrie went off last game and they still lost, and then today Kyrie puts up 13 points on 4-13 shooting.

They're giving him a torrid time. Watch him when he doesn't have the ball, they are bodying him off the ball and making sure he doesn't get it, and when he does get it they tend to be in low percentage areas then they trap him. I don't think he's being held (at least not all the time ) but they're definitely making sure he doesn't get the ball if at all possible. Ime is determined to make everyone else beat us but KD. But I'm sure they will adjust to it in their building, so Ime needs to be prepared to adapt again.

I hope ashanm10 comes back though. From his sig seems he's a legit fan, just has really high expectations.

Game ball goes to Grant Williams. 17pts, 6 reb, 2blks,  shot 4-4 from the field, 3-3 from 3pt, 6-6 from the line. His defense was really solid as well. Basically a perfect game for him.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Big win for the Celtics.  Tatum has officially made the championship leap and we're certainly legit contenduhs.  I reckon we can win 4/7 against any team in the playoffs with RWill.  Not quite sure yet if we can beat Milwaukee without him, though, and  the Heat just caught us at the end of March.  The East looks tougher than the West this year - these teams are talented, defend well, and are super experienced.  I'm optimistic, though.

We just might get past Milwaukee if Middleton is out several weeks. But ofc, we need to finish off Brooklyn first. Now it'll be in their house.

KD was 4 for 17 from the field. most of his points were FT. wow

If we had cut down on some of the dumb fouls we would have blown them out

and turnovers

Yep, the outlook is good.  Nets won't go down without a fight, but I think our defense makes the difference, especially w/ Tatum bought in.

It absolutely is. There are 4.5 teams in the east that could win the title. Philly, nets, Celtics and bucks could all have a shot with things breaking right. Heat could make an argument although I don’t really see it. Outside of suns and golden state, there are mostly flawed teams. First time in a few years the east was clearly a better conference. Heck the Knicks had a better record than the pelicans.

I agree, but I love the Celtics chances right now.  Out west, after one more dominant game, I'm calling it GSW's to lose.  Hoping MEM can grow up fast and make it interesting, though.  No comment on PHO-NOP out of respect for your Pels hate.
