He got the chance, and decided to sabotage the team mid-series.

It's pretty obvious that after Kyrie + KD, the Nets just don't have the firepower. The Nets need BOTH Kyrie + KD to put up like 30+ each to have a chance, and tonight with Kyrie putting up 13 that was a moot point. The Nets did nearly comeback and win in Game 1 with Kyrie going off (with 39) and KD also putting up 23 (not the usual KD number, but pretty good nonetheless)
To be fair dragic has been pretty good third weapon the first couple games. Don’t know if that will continue though.

If it were anybody but Dragic, I'd say it can't happen. But that guy is a bona fide Celtics-killer.

Absolutely, unequivocally horrible in the first half.

He then played absolutely, unequivocally amazing in the second half. Huge shots from inside and out, came up with some really timely defensive possessions, and played much better team D. He and PP really gelled in the 4th quarter

How many bona fide Celtics killers are there now. Dragic...I think a few of the journeymen point guards like Ish Smith, Tim Frazer, I think DJ Augustin also owned us a bit. Khris Middleton. Lebron.

Oladipo was a brutal thorn in our side for a while there. Seemed to hit every clutch shot possible when given the opportunity.

Looking at the box score, it appears there may have been a lot of the "played like garbage in first half and great in 2nd half" overall play from Celtic players.

At least they had which half they needed to play great in down pat in this game.

Middleton, definitely. DeMar Derozan, but he's kind of an "everybody" killer. I seem to remember Tristan Thompson always used to play us tough.

Yeah, it was a very slow start. Bruce Brown scored 9 unanswered points to start the game. But this team is bloody gritty

He had a good run on the Pacers (if I recall correctly). Really sucks how it's now basically over for him.

Yea DDR just scores his 20-30 regardless. Amazing that he's now efficient (I think), from being just a chucker before.

He'd be in the LeBron tranche of Celtic killers, on the opposite end of Tim Frazer.

Speaking of, Westbrook had a spectacular game against us a few years back. I think after the KG era ... maybe 2013? Nailed a bunch of 3's and just outclutched us.

I can't remember that, but I remember a young Smart cooking Westbrook.
