I would do Smart, Richardson, fernando OR Hernan to make the numbers work. No picks either way.
Schroeder
Brown
Tatum
Simmons
Hortford
Bench of Pritchard, nesmith, langford, RW3
Deep bench Kanter, parker, GW, fernando OR Hernan
I don't think 6ers do this, but at this point this is all he is worth.
C's do this to trade Marcus "poor playmaking" this year, and overall poor shooting and short stature, for a taller guy who's size fits better, has similar D albeit against larger opposition, and shoots ZERO from outside, but shoots a higher percentage from inside and passes better. Simmons is better, but this package is fair I think.
Do yourself a favor and propose this same idea in a Sixers forum. I bet every single poster will consider it insulting. Other teams aren't stupid, neither do they have to accept our leftovers for their best players. If the Sixers were willing to dump Simmons for pennies on the dollar, they would have already traded him by now.
#1 I said 6ers would not do this. This is what I said I would do. They want him worth more than this he just isn't. Before his injury, Jaylen was scoring 26 points per game, on a balanced game, with All NBA defense and no chemistry issues, at least in public. He was shooting well from inside and out and has decent if not quite good enough passing numbers. What has Simmons done except be a cancer, not play a game, and p--- all of his team mates off. In his career he has at least 3 massive holes in his game(outside shooting, free throw shooting, and playoff/clutch play) on top of only scoring about half Jaylen recently. He is basically smart with a bigger body. 3rd or 4th scorer, great defender, facilatator and decent rebounder(simmons ismuch better rebounder and slightly better facilator 8.2ast 3.4 TO versus 5.7ast 2 to best seasons). Their scoring is similar with MS being a little less consistent but at least has an outside shot and significantly better on FT's. Simmons is worth more than smart, but not head and shoulders better.
