And the Warriors go up 3-0. They might sweep them unless if Luka puts up 50 in Game 4 or something  :o

Moranis, what happened to your Mav’s?

Honestly feels like Golden State is the best team remaining in the field

They have been all along.  It just took them a while to work Klay and Green back from injury, and they're pacing for a title run.  Celtics can definitely beat them, but it'd be a bloodbath, and Smart would need to be healthy.

Yeah they lost KD but still added Wiggins, and Poole has been an awesome addition for them and he’s emerged. Plus they got Wiseman and Kaminga going forward to go along with what they have. Their dynasty may continue after the brief pause.

I wonder how this affects KD’s legacy if GSW wins it all this season or in the near future while KD hasn’t made it back to a conference final since

I think we got it right on KD - phenomenal talent, lacks the extra to lead a championship team.  In hindsight, it's interesting that KD, Kyrie, and Harden all ended up in Brooklyn, though.  Hmm...

That Wiggins dunk… Wow.
He is still such a "what if" talent. Could have been anything

Yup....and then get to face a team on crutches.

This seems to happen a lot....East teams beat eachother to a pulp then go on to face a West team that waltzes through a softer conference built on finesse.

Was def wrong about the mavs in this series, thought they should’ve won the last 2 games for sure, just to much depth on the warriors apparently.

Yeah looks like the Warriors took the Mavs heart in game 2 and they basically gave up.  I don't even know if they will win game 4 at this point.  They look defeated.  Luka is still a beast (and he never looks defeated) so maybe they at least extend the series so the Warriors don't have quite as much rest.  That would be nice.

The east was clearly a much stronger conference this year. Us, heat, Brooklyn, bucks and 76ers all would put up a much better fight than Dallas has.

Not to sound like I’m bashing Tatum, but you can see why people would still probably lean towards Doncic > Tatum. Luka very rarely takes a “night off” and even when he struggles he can still put up 20+ or find other ways to impact the game.

Tatum has his moments but then you have games like last night or even Game 3 vs MIL where he has just 10 points and his body language is also off throughout.

Even tonight with the Warriors playing relentless Luka is giving it everything he can. 28/8 and counting

There's two sides of the ball. Luka is a great offensive talent, but he's nowhere near the defender that Tatum is. No coach is trusting Luka to be the primary defender on Kevin Durant for a 7 game series.

C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Would be nice if Dallas could at least take 1 game this series. But idk, the Warriors just seem locked in

Either Luka scores 50+ tonight, or he can score 25-30 BUT Dinwiddie, Bullock and Brunson all have to combine for 65+ points together or the Mavs got no shot tonight. Not really sure they can expect much from the others (DFS, Kleber, etc.).

The suns must feel embarrassed watching this series. I wonder if it makes them more likely to try something new this off-season.
