Why didn't the ball advance to half-court?

Things that make you scratch your head.  The Mavs go 2-1 without Doncic.  Get Doncic back and he has a very nice game and they lose.

Hawks and now Jazz with some huge game-winning shots late to arguably save their seasons (for now - since falling behind 3-0 or 3-1 would be even worse)

But yeah why the hell did they not advance the ball to halfcourt after the timeout by DAL??  ???

Only scratching your head until you see how Dinwiddie and Brunson shot the ball.

That was my initial reaction. I assume that Kidd chose to do that...

Yeah people on Twitter are saying the coach can decide and I guess Kidd chose not to. Maybe the idea was to eat up some clock and not leave Utah with much time even if they did make a shot. But even if they don't, they foul, force Utah to hit FTs (far from a guarantee lol) and still down just 1 possession

I looked it up. Kidd is also the guy who got his team to intentionally foul while up 4

I'm just seeing all of Embiid's antics today (the claps, complaining about refs, postgame comments, etc.). What a baby  ::)

When the Sixers don't get the calls or have calls going against them they cry so much. Not a surprise with a team of Harden + Embiid. Also, Embiid literally told Nick Nurse to stop complaining about foul calls and then Embiid complains about it today  ::)

Really stupid decision by Kidd. He has them playing well this year, but that was just totally pointless. Wasted valuable seconds bringing the ball up

Brunson's numbers (7-18 overall, 2-5 from 3, 7-8 from the line) aren't bad.

39% from the field (and 5-13 from inside the arc) is not good at all. How is sub-40 shooting anything but bad?

Don't forget the Sixers/Raps game 3.  Embiid hits the game winner in OT but that was only possible because Achiuwa missed both free throws at the end of regulation.  Sixers fans would be sweating bullets if that series was tied 2-2.

Because you're ignoring that he went 2 for 5 from 3 and 7-8 from the line.  23 points on 18 shots isn't bad.
