Prior to last nights game…

“That’s a big loss for Phoenix. That loss gives New Orleans the two best players on the court which is hard to overcome. No disrespect to Chris Paul.” – Draymond Green on Devin Booker getting hurt. – via Twitter

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Ayton 20 FGAs only 1 FTA. It's so strange to me to see a guy with his size, power and athleticism consistently fail to get himself to the foul line.

Only 2.4 FTAs per game on the season and 2.5 for his 4 year career.

Crazy to think we'll see a sweep as early as this afternoon (Sixers-Raptors).

Felt like the playoffs literally just started a few days ago lol

Yeah a hamstring issue. But it doesn't seem like it's anything bad. In fact if things go well he could still potentially play Game 4, but if not then probably Game 5. Doesn't look like a long term thing

Joel Embiid may have a torn ligament in his thumb. Wow, this definitely opens the door for the Celtics. Sucks for Embiid but wow.

They better make it count and capitalize.
He played through it in the 2nd half and OT of game 3 which included hitting the game winner.  He practiced today when the Sixers have 2 days off before game 4.  Both he and Doc say he'll be ready for game 4.  Doesn't sound like it is that bad at the moment.  Of course, one bad/awkward hit to the thumb could change that.

I knew you were gonna make this post before you posted it.
And I knew you'd make that meaningless response.  My post was accurate based on the reporting.  If the Sixers were very concerned about the injury, Embiid would have already had an MRI and wouldn't have been participating in practice until the results were known.

I did see it mentioned that Embiid was seen to be shooting some with his left hand during practice.  Now I expect that is something he often plays with during practice but it would be cool if he pulled a Bird and played the game left handed.

I more meant your fierce defense and positive spin on anything semi related to Embid. Which I don’t think is meaningless, I’m certainly not the only one that notices It particularly stands out know though cause he is universally accepted as one of the top 3-4 players in the league and a top two mvp candidate and nobody is really ever saying anything bad about him. So we end up with the weird straw man post alleging people thought towns was as good as him recently. He has made it. He is a superstar. Doesn’t need a Rick  mahorn enforcer anymore.

First time in series Toronto is basically at full strength. Curious if they can hang with Philly a bit with full lineup.

Well scratch that. Barnes just reinjured. Man can’t believe the amount of injuries these playoffs so far.

Yeah I was really surprised he came back in. It is also possible 76ers  being impacted by injury as Embid is off to a slow start and maybe the thumb is bothering him? Then he again he has a slow start last game then absolutely exploded

With Embiid limited by his hand injury and Barnes back for Toronto, could we possibly have a chance at seeing the first team in NBA history to win after being down 3-0?

No with an injured van fleet (believe out for the game) and a gimpy Barnes I would be quite surprised if this doesn’t end today.
