It’s crazy the lakers will still make the play in ten games or more under .500
Scottie Barnes is cooking them

LeBron’s back is about to be sore.
Just look at that rotation to half time.

Starting group of LeBron, Westbrook, Monk, Reaves and Stanley Johnson. Bench play from Melo, Wenyen Gabriel, Talen Horton-Tucker, Wayne Ellington, DJ Augustin and Avery Bradley.

This LAL team is such a delicious example of horrible roster construction. A team with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook is a bottom 10 team in the league ;D

If the Lakers have LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook healthy for the playoffs, they are still formidable.  Without Davis, they are pedestrian.
The roster is top heavy, that is a fair criticism.

I’m not convinced a healthy Westbrook adds anything at all relative to one who’s not playing.

Agreed.  It would take a giant change in mindset, which there has been no evidence of.

Lebron / Davis is still a scary combo if healthy, but they just don't have the role players on that roster to be scary.

I am surprised Westbrook hasn't played better in the small ball / micro ball lineups more along the lines of what he did in Houston next to James Harden after D'Antoni went 5-out with PJ Tucker at center clearing the paint for Westbrook to attack.

Very bad sign for both LA and Westbrook that Westbrook has not been able to resume that level of performance.

He looks finished as a winning player.

Before he was someone you had to build your team around in order to get positive play for him. Now? He just looks done. Kaput.

The off season stories/oral history of the '21-22 Lakers should be fun reads.

Nick Wright looks more and more like the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. he actually is. Unbearable. Probably took him 4 hours of rubbing his two brain-cells together to think of 17 NBA players.

KAT with 60 and 17 last night. I would give up everything short of Tatum for him.
If we could somehow wedge KAT between Tatum and Timelord I think we'd have an amazing team.

However, it would compromise our defence given we'd likely be giving up Brown, Smart and more.

I can’t stand him, but his talent is undeniable. Looks like the C’s won’t be facing the Nets in the first round and I’m thankful for that.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He ended up with 60 with lots of time left. He could have gone for 70 if he wanted to.

Apparently Ben Simmons has aggravated and his back abs may not return in the regular season. He reportedly can’t even play 1 on 1 right now so will have a conditioning ramp up.

Those process guys seem cursed injury wise. Fultz, Embid, saric, simmons all with injuries. Okafor stayed healthiest and end up in China.

I watched Kyrie's first half getting 41.  It was effortless.  Nothing really forced.  Just super efficient.   He is so talented.

He got the first 11 right and then Butler, Morant, and PG are arguable when healthy.  And considering 3 of the first 11 aren't playing and PG isn't either, it isn't that hard to argue Tatum is a top 10 player this year.
