Man how are the hawks down 15 to a blazers team that had to sign Dunn to a hardship contract before the game
The Hawks aren't very good?

I like how the Hawks went on a 25-4 run to take the lead and ultimately win immediately after this exchange.

Heh yeah. Nobody was saying the hawks are good, but the blazers have been tanking more aggressively than anyone in the league the last 8 games so even the rockets should beat them now. Of course normalcy prevailed and Brandon Williams, kris Dunn and cj Elaby fell apart.

It’s crazy the lakers will still make the play in ten games or more under .500

If the Kings beat the Bulls, and they are up 20 at the half, the Celtics loss doesn't hurt them in the standings as every team ahead of them will have lost their last game.

Again, if the Bulls score holds, Celtics behind Chicago by a 1/2 game, Philly by 1 game and Milwaukee by 1-1/2 games.

Should be a fun end of season run.

I don't think that is a given at all.  Entering today they only have a 3 game lead on the Blazers and 10 of their 14 games after tonight are on the road and the Lakers have been absolutely atrocious on the road.  The Lakers play only 2 games against teams not in at least the play in at Washington and home with OKC, have 2 games against NO, but everyone else is well above .500.  The Lakers might only win a few more games all season.  The Blazers do have 9 on the road and 6 at home to close, but they also play easier teams, including a 5 game home stand in which they play Houston twice, San An, OKC, and NO.  Because Portland is so bad and they have to make up 3 games on the Lakers, the Lakers should make the play in, but it certainly isn't guaranteed.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Just look at that rotation to half time.

Starting group of LeBron, Westbrook, Monk, Reaves and Stanley Johnson. Bench play from Melo, Wenyen Gabriel, Talen Horton-Tucker, Wayne Ellington, DJ Augustin and Avery Bradley.

This LAL team is such a delicious example of horrible roster construction. A team with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook is a bottom 10 team in the league ;D

This is all on Lebron wanting Westbrook. He did the same thing the first time around in Cleveland, James stomped his feet for the Cavs to trade for Jamison, then bolted.

It's a travesty. Cheapen the NBA, in the long run, to make a few more bucks in the short run.

It’s only truly cheapened if the Lakers win two play-in games.  Otherwise it’s just an extra game or two to watch LeBron yell at his teammates and absolve himself of responsibility.

If the Lakers have LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook healthy for the playoffs, they are still formidable.  Without Davis, they are pedestrian.
The roster is top heavy, that is a fair criticism.

KAT with 60 and 17 last night. I would give up everything short of Tatum for him.

I’m not convinced a healthy Westbrook adds anything at all relative to one who’s not playing.
