Comparing Langford in any way to guys like Curry and Embiid is a new level of ridiculousness for this board.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Unless it's Joe Embiid and Dave Curry...

Just thinking injury trajectory, obviously Romeo tops out maybe a role player at this point.

But read into it what you want I guess.

Heat getting crushed by the Suns right now. Think Butler is out, but so is CP3. Oladipo is back.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

With just 15 games left I doubt getting to 1st place is in the cards given the schedule and need to leap over 4 teams.

But I do think 2nd or 3rd place is in play if the team can go 10-5 or better.

Well they have gone 17-3 for their last 20.  Granted the schedule will be tougher, but they know how to win.

How about Timelord as a comparison?  32, 29 and 52 games played in his 1st 3 seasons with similar minutes played.

Do we really want to finish 1st or 2nd and risk getting the Nets in the 1st round?

Nice. More of these in recent years - could be because of improvements in sports science? Or maybe I haven't been a fan of the NBA for super long (since the mid-2000's).

4 would be ideal right?

I’m good with the 4 seed. Home court for the first round and then Miami. I want no part of the Nets early on.

I just hate that a team who is a 9th seed can still make the playoffs by winning the play-in games, even if they're like 5 games behind the 8th seed
