Isaiah Thomas is signing a 10-day deal with Charlotte, source tells ESPN.

Excited for him.  I do think we should have brought him back.

An anonymous NBA executive says the Lakers should consider an Anthony Davis for Jaylen Brown trade

Yeah lets also add Tatum to that trade and the Lakers can send us back Westbrook too  ::)

For the last couple years I've been rooting for IT but most of the time I understood why he wasn't offered a roster spot.  Now that we have several stiffs on our bench, having IT on the bench doesn't seem all that unreasonable.  Joe Johnson had his feel-good contract and it seemed positive.  If he would be happy just to be on the team with no playing time expectations, I would enjoy having Isaiah around for the rest of this year.

Davis is BY FAR the best player in that trade, you just might only have him half the time though and that is the real risk for Boston (assuming Davis would be fine going to Boston).

Beyond him just wanting to play in the NBA, I wonder what kind of an affect it would have on him playing for the Celtics again.  Last time he was here he thought he'd be getting a max contract only to be traded unexpectedly and it's been downhill since.  I would imagine it would be hard playing for some vet minimum on a 10 day contract for that same team.

I really am rooting for him though.

His season this year has given me one of my worst takes of all time, when I was basically crapping on him before the season. Happy to eat crow on this one because of how entertaining he is, but man... the way he flies around makes me all kinds of nervous for his knees. Very reminiscent of D-Rose / Steve Francis in terms of athleticism.

IT just doesn't really work here though. Pritchard has seen his minutes limited quite often due to his defensive weaknesses, and IT is a much worse defender than PP, while being less effective, both in terms of shooting and in terms of turnovers. He's also injury-prone. I'd much rather give Pritchard minutes to develop than bring IT back.

Didja see the Adams-to-Morant inbounds play from that same game? Insane.

I did - the 49ers should lure Adams away to play QB. I feel like he'd be able to break sacks easily ;D

Funny how people forget how much of a defensive liability IT is.

When he was dropping 30 a night on good efficiency it was forgiven. Scoring 9 a night on historic inefficiency, not so much.

Pretty curious if anyone is watching the lakers game
Tonight. You can see a lot of what I have been talking about the last few pages here. Just looks like Lebron has given up on the season now.

I was thinking if you swapped LeBron for Luka straight up would the Lakers get better and Dallas worse? I think it would.
